    Iran's electrical grid is connected to the Eastern Turkey grid via Khoy-Basqale 400KV transmission line. Harmonic mesurements indicate high level of the 5th harmonic voltage in Azarbayjan grid which is magnified in Van substation. According to Iran international obligations and economic losses caused by the high level of harmonics in Azerbaijan regional electricity grid, a comprehensive study is required.     Transformers are vital components of power networks, responsible for converting electricity from one voltage level to another. They are designed to operate under sinusoidal conditions, but the increasing use of non-linear loads and power electronic devices has caused a spike in harmonic pollution in power networks. These harmonics result in increased losses in transformers, leading to a reduction in capacity, accelerated aging, and a shortened life.     Analysis of Oscillations in Linear Fractional Order Systems

    Abstract
    This thesis studies undamped oscillations generated by marginally stable fractional order linear time invariant (LTI) systems. In this study, the concept of integral curve is developed for fractional order LTI systems. The proposed concept is obtained based on equivalent integer order linear time varying (LTV) systems. Then, an analytical approach is proposed to be used for harmonic analysis of such oscillations in marginally stable commensurate order LTI systems.     DC-link voltage and output current control loops are two cascaded loops in the control structure of grid-connected inverters. A high DC-link voltage loop bandwidth (DCL-BW) provides more disturbance rejection capability for the control loop and is preferred from control system perspective. However, for stability issues, this BW is limited and must be sufficiently less than that of the current control loop.     This paper proposes a new control scheme to eliminate the 3rd harmonic in the output currents of grid-following inverters under unbalanced grid conditions. Unbalanced grids adversely affect the performance of grid-following inverters due to the oscillations appearing on the DC-link voltage with a frequency twice the line frequency.     In this paper, an analysis of the harmonic contents of the optical output power for an in-plane single mode laser diode is performed, and the results are described in detail. In the first step, the absolute value of power for each harmonic is obtained in terms of various laser diode parameters, and the variations of external parameters, such as modulation current, bias current and frequency, are discussed.     In this paper, different switching tables proposed for the Direct Torque Controlled (DTC) of a six-phase induction machine are simulated and implemented. A six-phase induction motor has 64 space voltage vectors which result in increased complexity in the selecting of inverters switching. The unsuitable selection of a switching table leads to large harmonics especially at low speed and it also reduces drive efficiency.
