    Purpose: The aim of this research is to propose a buffer sizing and buffer controlling algorithm (BSCA) as a heuristic algorithm for calculating project buffer and feeding buffers as well as dynamic controlling of buffer consumption in different phases of a wind power plant project in order to achieve a more realistic project duration.     Abstract
    In this paper, reliability of conventional pulse width modulation buck-boost converter is analyzed, where the effects of duty cycle, input voltage, output power, voltage gain and time duration are evaluated. These analyses are performed in both continuous and discontinuous conduction modes and Markov process model is utilized to obtain the results. In addition, mean time to failure of this converter is obtained with respect to the aforementioned parameters. In this paper, detailed analyses of reliability in buck-boost converter with different evaluation parameters are presented.     In this era of digital communication systems, different factors are included in efficiency of a transceiver system. Binary PAM systems are one of these transceiver systems. Many aspects of such a system has been considered yet but this field needs more research on because this is the base of any communication system.     Nano-micro grippers are able to pick-transport-place the micro or nanometer -sized materials, such as manipulation of biological cells or DNA molecules in a liquid medium. This paper proposes a novel monolithic nano-micro gripper structure with two axis piezoresistive force sensor which its resolution is under nanoNewton.     A multilayer back propagation learning algorithm was used as an artificial neural network tool to predict the mechanical properties of porous NiTi shape memory alloys fabricated by press/sintering of the mixed powders. Effects of green porosity, sintering time and the ratio of the average Ti to Ni particle sizes on properties of the product were investigated. Hardness and tensile strength of the compacts were determined by hardness Rockwell B method and shear punch test. Three-fourths of 36 pairs of experimental data were used for training the network within the toolbox of the MATLAB software.     In this research a mathematical model for direct oxidization of hydrogen sulfide into elemental sulfur in a fluidized bed reactor with external circulation was developed. As the catalyst is deactivated in the fluidized bed, it might be placed in a reduction tank in order to remove sulfur through heating above its dew point. The reactor model demonstrated via MATLAB software. It was shown that variations of H 2S conversion as well as; products formed were reasonable in comparison with corresponding results of a fixed bed reactor. Due to its low energy density, direct use of biomass is not convenient. A computer program has been developed to analyze energy calculation and estimation of the most important economic indices of an HPP using the sensitivity analysis method.
