    Abstract
    In this paper, an algorithm for fault diagnosis of permanent magnet DC electromotors.has been investigated, based on vibration and electrical current monitoring. Several permanent magnet DC electromotors.with previously determined faults have been prepared and the vibration, current and speed data have been measured. The relationship between certain related measured data and faults has been determined. A fault diagnosis algorithm has been developed in this research based on these relationships. This algorithm can be used in mass production lines for quality control

    Purpose - This paper aims to present the design and implementation of VirSense, a novel six-DOF haptic interface system, with an emphasis on its gravity compensation and fixed-base motors. Design/methodology/approach - In this paper, the design and manufacture of the VirSense robot and its comparison with the existing haptic devices are presented. The kinematic analysis of the robot, design of the components, and manufacturing of the robot are explained as well.     We have observed that a rotating liquid soap film generates electricity when placed between two non-contact electrodes with a sufficiently large potential difference. In our experiments, suspended liquid film (water + soap film) is formed on the surface of a circular frame, which is forced to rotate in the x−y horizontal plane by a motor. This system is located at the center of two capacitor-like vertical plates to apply an external electric voltage difference in the x-direction.     Two major structures for rotor core of superconducting synchronous machine are air-cored and magnetic-cored structures. Magnetic-cored structure can be divided into two categories including salient and non-salient magnetic core. In this paper, three different structures of superconducting synchronous machine comprising air-cored, non-salient magnetic-cored and salient magnetic-cored, have been studied and compared considering required superconducting wire and machine weight.     Brushless doubly fed induction machine has recently attracted attention in variable speed generators and motor drives. In order to have a high performance control, a precise dynamic model is required. This paper aims at introducing a model of brushless doubly fed induction machine taking core loss into account. The details of model derivation are outlined and the torque relation is expressed in the general reference frame. The model is then used for simulation of the dynamic performance of the machine.     In this article effects of sleepers defect on rail vehicle vibration have been investigated. Two parallel rails of the track have been modeled as Euler-Bernoulli beams on elastic points as rail pads. Also sleepers have been modeled as visco-elastic Euler-Bernoulli beams.
