    Multistage process surveillance is considered to effectively improve the product reliability in manufacturing or service operations.     Carbon Nanotube webs exhibit interesting properties when used as thermo-acoustic projectors. This work studies thermo-acoustic phenomena of these sound sources both in near and far field regions. Our three-dimensional simulation and experimental data show pressure waves are highly affected by dimensions of sound sources in near field due to interference effects. Although pressure amplitude increases with increasing frequencies, maximum pressure amplitude reached in lower frequencies may become larger than its maximum amount at higher frequencies because of interference effects.     We study drag reduction of a uniform flow over a flat surface due to a series of rectangular microgrooves created on the surface. The results reveal that making grooves on the surface usually leads to the generation of secondary vortices inside the grooves that, in turn, decreases the friction drag force and increases the pressure drag force. By increasing the thickness of the grooves to the thickness of the obstacle, the pressure drag increases due to the enhancement of the generated vortices and the occurrence of separation phenomenon and the friction drag reduces due to a decrease of the velocity gradient on the surface.     According to Haldane Conjecture Antiferromagnetic Heisenberg Spin Chain with integer spin has an energy gap, and exponential decay of correlation functions , while half integer spin chains are gapless with algebraic decay of correlation functions. A spin chain with two types of spins and Heisenberg interaction shows a mixture of both types of behavior.     We examine the interactions of chitosan and polyethylene glycol (PEG) with antimicrobial peptide GF-17 to identify a suitable carrier to improve the peptide drug delivery systems. To this end, the molecular dynamics simulations are used to determine the interactions of a typical antimicrobial peptide GF-17 with the chitosan and PEG polymers. The findings indicate the great potential of the peptide to maintain its secondary structure in the adjacent to chitosan polymers.     In the present paper we construct stock price processes with the same marginal log- normal law as that of a geometric Brownian motion and also with the same transition density (and returns’ distributions) between any two instants in a given discrete-time grid. We then illustrate how option prices based on such processes differ from Black and Scholes’, in that option prices can be either arbitrarily close to the option intrinsic value or arbitrarily close to the underlying stock price.     We investigate the phase diagram of an anisotropic ferrimagnetic spin-(1/2, 1) in the presence of a non-commuting (transverse) magnetic field. We find a magnetization plateau for the isotropic case while there is no plateau for the anisotropic ferrimagnet. The magnetization plateau can appear only when the Hamiltonian has the U(1) symmetry in the presence of the magnetic field. The anisotropic model is driven by the magnetic field from the Néel phase for low fields to the spin-flop phase for intermediate fields and then to the paramagnetic phase for high fields.     In the context of coded caching in a K-user, L-cells cellular network, we show that by using a simple decentralized content base replication scheme and exploiting spatial reuse, a very good file delivery throughput with small file subpacketization order can be achieved.
