    In this study the problem of position and attitude control of a Spacecraft has been investigated under position and attitude constraints as well as uncertainties in mass, moments of inertia, thrust vector error, and external disturbances. The Lyapunov theory is utilized for deriving the appropriate controls. Two kinds of controls are derived in the first step. The first kind has been derived using direct Lyapunov method and the second by the use of back-stepping method.     Efficient Algorithm for Network Motifs Discovery

    Abstract
    Network Motifs are subgraphs that appear more frequently in real networks than randomize networks. Frequent replication of a subgraph could imply evolution, network performance or some other particular reasons. From algorithmic perspective, network motif discovery in a graph is a difficult problem. Since, at least it includes the whole graph isomorphism. Hence, for solving this problem in practice, we need computable graphs. The existing algorithms so far, have high running times and memory usages.     Abstract
    Most of 200 Activated Sludge Plant in Iran are overloaded and as a result, their efficiency is low. In this work, a pilot plant is manufactured and put into operation in one of the wastewater treatment plants in the west of Tehran. Instead of conventional activated sludge, a membrane bioreactor and an upflow anaerobic sludge blanket reactor used as a pretreatment unit in this pilot. For the sake of data accuracy and precision, an enriched municipal wastewater was opted as an influent to the pilot.     Optimizing OLR and HRT in a UASB reactor for pretreating high- Strength municipal wastewater

    Abstract
    This study was carried out for examination of a lab-scale UASB reactor for optimization of organic loading rate and hydraulic retention time. The total volume of the reactor was 5 1 with an effective height of 160 cm and diameter of 5 cm. This reactor was used to treat fortified municipal wastewater at volumetric organic loadings of 3.6, 7.2, 10.8, and 14.4 kg m3 d 1 at temperature 30°C. The result of present work indicated an optimum range for organic loading (7.2 to 10.8 kg m-3 d-1) with COD removal efficiency of about 85%. Moreover, optimum HRT for influent COD concentration of 1200mg/l is shown to be only 4 hours. Furthermore nitrate removal efficiency was about 80% at optimized organic...

    In this study, the biological removal of styrene (STR) and ethylbenzene (EB) was investigated and the effect of carriers on the membrane fouling (MF) and the performance of two MBRs (with and without carrier) were examined.     Performance of Activated Sludge System at Different Weather and Solution for Upgrading

    Abstract
    Over 90 percent of the wastewater treatment systems use activated sludge which, yields to increase in organic loadings, these systems do not have appropriate performance. For upgrading of these systems a UASB reactor has been used prior to the activated sludge system, to improve the system performance and also reduce the excess sludge production. A membrane was also used instead of the sedimentation tank, to betterment the effluent quality. COD influent concentration was about 600 to 2400 mg/l, up to 98 percent of COD reduction obtain in this system. Also excess sludge reduction was over 90%.     This study examined biodegradation kinetics of styrene and ethylbenzene as representatives of alkenylbenzenes and mono-alkylbenzenes, respectively. The compounds were studied independently and as binary mixtures using a series of aerobic batch degradation experiments introduced by acclimatized mix culture. Initial concentration of styrene and ethylbenzene in the liquid phase vacillated from 0 to 220 mg/l.     This study is focused on simulating and optimizing design and configuration of anaerobic baffled reactor (ABR) by means of artificial neural network (ANN).     There are many activated sludge plants (ASP) in Iran. Most of them are overloaded and as a result their efficiency is very low. A combined laboratory-scale system (5 L reactors) consisting of an up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) and aerobic membrane bioreactor (MBR) was operated at 20 and 30°C with pH between 7.6 and 8.4.
