    Abstract
    The navigation algorithms which use inertial measurement units (IMUs), such as inertial navigation systems (INSs), always suffer from intrinsic accumulated errors. Bias in gyros induces a significant drift in navigation output especially when micro-electro-mechanical sensor (MEMS) type is used. This error has high-and low-frequency components. De-noising of the long-term error (LTE) (the low-frequency component) is more challenging due to undeterministic behavior and overlapping with carrier motion in the low-frequency band.     In this paper, a novel self-adaptive control method based on a digital twin is developed and investigated for a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) nonlinear system, which is a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning system. For this purpose, hardware-in-loop (HIL) and software-in-loop (SIL) are integrated to develop the digital twin control concept in a straightforward manner.     We propose a compositional approach for the Partial Order Reduction (POR) in the state space generation of asynchronous timed actors. We define the concept of independent actors as the actors that do not send messages to a common actor. The approach avoids exploring unnecessary interleaving of executions of independent actors.     Laminar flamelet decomposition (LFD) is a dynamic approach for modelling sub-filter scale turbulence-chemistry interactions in Large-Eddy Simulations using a stretched flamelet library. In this work, the performance of the LFD model – that was previously used only in non-premixed combustion—is investigated a priori for premixed combustion using positively-strained flamelets in the reactant-to-product configuration.
