    Abstract
With recent considerable developments in the Internet of Things (IoT), billions of resource-constrained devices are interconnected through the Internet. Monitoring this huge number of IoT devices which are heterogeneous in terms of underlying communication protocols and data format is challenging. The majority of existing IoT device monitoring solutions heavily rely on centralized architectures. Since using centralized architectures comes at the expense of trusting an authority, it has several inherent drawbacks, including vulnerability to security attacks, lack of data privacy, and unauthorized data manipulation. Hence, a new decentralized approach is crucial to remedy these drawbacks. One...

    Abstract
We study the problem of multi-user dynamic searchable symmetric encryption (DMUSSE) where a data owner stores its encrypted documents on an untrusted remote server and wishes to selectively allow multiple users to access them by issuing keyword search queries. Specifically, we consider the case where some of the users may be corrupted and colluding with the server to extract additional information about the dataset (beyond what they have access to). We provide the first formal security definition for the dynamic setting as well as forward and backward privacy definitions. We then propose SE, the first provably secure DMUSSE scheme and instantiate it in two versions, one based on oblivious...

    Abstract
Blockchain Technology (BCT) is expanding day by day and is used in all pillars of life and projects. In this research, we survey applicable BCT in project management for the first time. We presented a Resource-Constrained Time–Cost-Quality-Energy-Environment Tradeoff Problem by considering BCT, Risk and Robustness (RCTCQEETPBCTRR) in project scheduling. We utilize hybrid robust stochastic programming, worst case, and Conditional Value at Risk (CVaR) to cope with uncertainty and risks. This type of robustification and risk-averse is presented in this research. A real case study is presented in a healthcare project. We utilize GAMS-CPLEX to solve the model. Finally, we analyze finish time,...

    Abstract
Cryptocurrency mining device (CMD) is a plug-and-play device installed by any low-voltage customer to convert electrical energy to digital money. Recently, the significant increase in the price of digital currencies has persuaded residential customers in many countries to employ CMDs to obtain quick and easy profit. However, these rapidly evolving loads can cause a substantial increase in the coincident peak load of distribution networks. Therefore, it can threaten the safe and reliable operation of the network. A straightforward way to restrict the penetration rate of these home-based miners is to increase the electricity price such that this business becomes unprofitable; however, this...

A Lightweight Lattice-Based Searchable Encryption Scheme

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Karimi, Mohammad Hossein (Author) ; Eghlidos, Taraneh (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Many lattice-based public key encryption schemes are forced to use long keys. To deal with this problem, structured lattices such as NTRU can be used. Lattice-based searchable public key encryption schemes are no exception. Furthermore, in most existing searchable public key encryption schemes, it is assumed that the user searches documents with only one keyword. However, using a conjunctive keyword search, we can search for documents containing several keywords by executing the trapdoor generation algorithm only once. On the other hand, in most of the published searchable public key encryption schemes, storing and searching encrypted keywords are responsibility of a central entity called...
