    Sensitive voltammetric detection of melatonin in pharmaceutical products by highly conductive porous graphene-gold composites

    This work presents a novel melatonin sensor based on unfunctionalized macroporous graphene networks decorated with gold nanoparticles for the differential pulse voltammetric detection of melatonin in pharmaceutical products. Highly porous graphene structures were prepared by metallic template-assisted chemical vapor deposition, and their active surface area and electrocatalytic activity were improved by electrochemical deposition of gold nanoparticles (50-250 nm) on their struts.     Solar hydrogen evolution from water is a necessary step to overcome the challenges of rising energy demand and associated environmental concerns. Low-cost photocatalytic architectures based on polymeric light absorbers coupled to highly efficient molecular catalysts might represent an attractive platform to address this issue.     This is the first research on the nonlinear frequency analysis of a multi-scale hybrid nanocomposite (MHC) disk (MHCD) resting on an elastic foundation subjected to nonlinear temperature gradient and mechanical loading is investigated.     In this study, coupled Generative Adversarial and Auto-Encoder neural networks have been used to reconstruct realizations of three-dimensional porous media. The gradient-descent-based optimization method is used for training and stabilizing the neural networks.     The major obstacles in gas separation by mixed-matrix composite membranes (MMCMs) are poor dispersion and poor affinity between polymers and fillers.     Molecular dynamics, MD, simulation of calcite (CaCO3) is selected to compare the p-v-T behaviour of some universal equations of state, UEOS, for the temperature range 100 K ≤ T 800 ≤ K, and pressures up to 3000 kbar. The isothermal sets of p-v-T data generated by simulation were each fitted onto some three- and two-parameter EOSs including Parsafar and Mason (PM), Linear Isotherm Regularity (LIR), Birch-Murnaghan (BM), Shanker, Vinet, Baonza and Modified generalized Lennard-Jones (MGLJ) EOSs.
