    In this work, an analytical model has been proposed for rectifiers used in RFID & WSN applications. Body effect has been considered in this model, as well as the effect of transistor size and number of stages on the output voltage of the rectifier. Using proposed equations for both rectifier circuit and the matching network, the power harvesting system is optimized by means of co-designing the rectifier and the matching network. The results of the proposed model are in good agreement with the simulation results.

However, the higher quality is achieved by notably increased Motion Field (MF) bitrate and more complex computations.     The paper presents the application of a rule- based control scheme for an Advanced Static Var Compensator (ASVC) to improve power system transient stability. The proposed method uses a current reference, based on the Transient Energy Function (TEF) approach. The proposed scheme provides, also, a continuous control of the reactive power flow. The performance of the proposed approach is compared with that of a system using a conventional control method and of a system without ASVC.     The common and traditional method for optical dispersion compensation is concatenating the transmitting optical fiber by a compensating optical fiber having a high-negative dispersion coefficient. In this Letter, we take the opposite direction and show how an optical fiber with a high-positive dispersion coefficient is used for dispersion compensation. Our optical dispersion compensating structure is the optical implementation of an iterative algorithm in signal processing.
