The present study investigates the relationships between feedback-seeking dimensions (frequency, method, timing, and content) and two types of individual performance (goal achievement and behavior-related performance). In addition, the relationships between feedback-seeking motives and feedback-seeking dimensions are examined. The purpose is to identify new explanations for the inconclusive results of the direct relationship between feedback-seeking and performance in the literature. In this paper, we consider a control strategy of multi-robot systems, or simply, swarms, based on emotional control technique. First, we briefly discuss a "kinematic" swarm model in n-dimensional space introduced in an earlier paper. In that model, motion of every swarm member is governed by predefined inter-individual interactions. Limitations of every member's field of view are also considered in that model. Context. Not only is gravitational microlensing a successful tool for discovering distant exoplanets, but it also enables characterization of the lens and source stars involved in the lensing event. Aims. In high-magnification events, the lens caustic may cross over the source disk, which allows determination of the angular size of the source and measurement of its limb darkening. Methods. Abstract
This work presents solid-state thermal decomposition synthesis of transition metal ferrites (MFe2O4, M = Zn, Ni, Cd). In this method, binary complexes of [Zn(en)3]3[Fe(ox)3]2, [Cd(en)3]3[Fe(ox)3]2 and [Ni(en)3]3[Fe(ox)3]2 (where en = ethylenediamine and ox = oxalate) are introduced as new single-source precursors to fabricate ZnFe2O4, CdFe2O4 and NiFe2O4 micro/nanostructures, respectively. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) patterns show that pure CdFe2O4 and NiFe2O4 are formed by thermal decomposition of the single-source precursors at 800°C. When thermal decomposition of [Zn(en)3]3[Fe(ox)3]2 complex is carried out at 700 and 800°C, the final products are composed of ZnFe2O4 and metal oxides....

We propose a compositional approach for the Partial Order Reduction (POR) in the state space generation of asynchronous timed actors. We define the concept of independent actors as the actors that do not send messages to a common actor. The approach avoids exploring unnecessary interleaving of executions of independent actors.
