    Abstract
    Incomplete self-similarity (ISS) concept is employed to develop the equations from existing experimental results of flow over an oblique rectangular sharp-crested weir for both free and submerged flow. The stage-discharge relationship is obtained by theoretical analysis, based on the application of the dimensional analysis and the ISS theory. For analysis, the relations were found by trial and error procedure using the SPSS mathematical computer program that estimates the relation among multi-variable functions.     Abstract
    Equivariant adaptive separation via independence (EASI) is one of the most successful algorithms for blind source separation (BSS). However, the user has to choose non-linearities, and usually simple (but non-optimal) cubic polynomials are applied. In this paper, the optimal choice of these non-linearities is addressed. We show that this optimal non-linearity is the output score function difference (SFD). Contrary to simple non-linearities usually used in EASI (such as cubic polynomials), the optimal choice is neither component-wise nor fixed: it is a multivariate function which depends on the output distributions.     Representational similarity analysis (RSA) summarizes activity patterns for a set of experimental conditions into a matrix composed of pairwise comparisons between activity patterns. Two examples of such matrices are the condition-by-condition inner product and correlation matrix. In order to get an accurate representation of these spinal loads, they must be compared to known tolerance values.
