    The effect of temperature on the TCVD growth of CNTs from LPG over Pd nanoparticles prepared by laser ablation

    Abstract
    TCVD growth of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) was reported by catalytic decomposition of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at a temperature range of 580800 °C. Laser ablation was employed as a simple and rapid technique to produce Pd nanoparticles which possess effective catalytic activities for CNT synthesis. UVvisible spectroscopy and TEM images confirmed that the Pd nanoparticles are stable for a long time and have rather spherical shape with average size of 7 nm. SEM and TEM observations and Raman spectroscopy demonstrated that the CNTs have a wavy structure, dense morphology and acceptable crystallinity.     Abstract
    (Lanthanum, Cerium)(Iron, Manganese, Cobalt, Palladium)(Oxygen)3- Perovskite catalyst was prepared by the citrate route and deposited on ceramic monoliths via dip coating procedure. The catalyst was applied on a car with XU7 motors and the amount of emission was monitored with vehicle emission test systems in Sapco company. The results were compared with the imported catalyst with noble metals such as palladium, platinum and rhodium by Iran Khodro company based on the Euro III standards.     We hereby demonstrate symmetric and asymmetric supercapacitors (SSCs and ASCs) based on core/shell-like Ni-Co oxide@cotton//Fe2O3-carbon nanotubes@cotton that are capable of storing a remarkable amount of energy, while retaining a high power density and long cycle life. Hierarchical, porous structures of Ni-Co-O nano-rod (NR) decorated Pd-activated cotton fibers (CFs) were fabricated using an eco-benign hydrothermal method and directly used as the cathode of the supercapacitors. Fe2O3-single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) decorated CFs were employed as anodes of the fabricated ASCs.     Abstract
    In this paper we follow two approaches in optimal nonlinear control of a snake-like robot. After deriving the dynamic equations of motion using Gibbs-Appell method, reducing these equations, and some assumptions, feedback-linearization method was used to linearize the nonlinear system. The obtained controller is used in simulations to control robot to track a desired line, with minimum required torques. Two goals are desired. First the robot's head is expected to track a distinct line with a given speed. And next, tracking the serpenoid curve is desired. The simulation results prove the controller efficiency.     Abstract
    The present study reports a simple electrochemical approach to the fabrication of a new nanocomposite containing PtPd nanoflowers (NFs) promoted with two-dimensional (2D) nanosheets (NSs) structure cuprous oxide (Cu2O) supported on reduced graphene oxide (rGO) (PtPd-NFs/Cu2O-NSs/rGO). Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectra, Raman spectroscopy, and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy are used for characterization of the PtPd-NPs/Cu2O-NPs/rGO.
