    Abstract
    In this paper we use a combination of fuzzy clustering estimation and sliding mode method to control a chaotic system, which its mathematical model is unknown. At first the model of chaotic system is identified without using any input noise signal. In this case the recurrent property of chaotic behavior is used for estimating its model. After estimating the fuzzy model of chaos, control and on-line identification of the input-related section is applied. In this step, we estimate the system model in normal form, such that the dynamic equations can be used in sliding mode control.     Abstract
    An area and power-efficient second order sigma-delta modulator is presented. At system level, we propose a new single-loop single-stage modulator that uses only one class-AB op-amp to realize a second order noise shaping for speech band applications. The modulator shows 86 dB DR in 4 kHz speech bandwidth. It consumes 125 μw from a 2.5 V supply

    Abstract
    This paper presents a new single-loop single-stage second order sigma-delta modulator. The circuit based on switched capacitor components just uses one Op-Amp to realize second order noise shaping.     A novel super-resolution volumetric photoacoustic microscopy, based on the theory of structured-illumination, is proposed in this paper. The structured-illumination will be introduced in order to surpass the diffraction limit in a photoacoustic microscopy (PAM) structure. Through optical excitation of the targeted object with a sinusoidal spatial fringe pattern, the object's frequency spectrum is forced to shift in the spatial frequency domain. The shifting in the desired direction leads to the passage of the high-frequency contents of the object through the passband of the acoustic diffraction frequency response.     Signal to Noise and Distortion Ratio (SNDR) is widely chosen for dynamic characterization of ADC. For pipelined ADC in which the inner circuits' errors accumulate at the output, analysis of the origins of SNDR and its characterization can be very hard. However, due to a relationship between maximum INL of ADC and the distortion in its output codes, SNDR can be derived as a function of maximum INL value and its position in output codes.     In this work, we study the performance of polar codes for lossy compression of a Gaussian source with a side information at decoder; known as the quadratic-Gaussian Wyner-Ziv problem. First we extend the binary polar codes to q-ary for the Wyner-Ziv problem. We show that the nested q- Ary polar codes are optimal for this case. Then we present two polar coding schemes for the Gaussian Wyner-Ziv problem. In the first scheme, we achieve a rate above the Wyner-Ziv rate-distortion function with a gap of 0.5 bits compared with the optimal rate.     Floquet eigenfunctions and Floquet exponents are encountered in stability and noise analysis of circuits operating at large signal periodic regime. It is analytically verified that the spectrum vectors of the left-hand and right-hand Floquet eigenfunctions and the Floquet exponents (Floquet eigenpairs) are members of the harmonic balance eigenvalues and eigenvectors (HB eigenpairs).     Abstract
    For the last few decades, phase-noise (PN) improvement of VCOs has been an intriguing problem and remains as one of the challenges in transceiver design. PN in CMOS VCOs, especially close-in PN, greatly suffers from flicker noise. The flicker noise can even degrade the PN at higher offset frequencies (∼1MHz). The close-in PN is important in many communication applications. For instance, IEEE 802.11a/b/g requires a very low PN at 10kHz offset frequency [1] and the PN performance at 100kHz is critical in cellular and Wi-Fi MIMO applications.     In this paper, we investigate the error probability, diversity analysis and outage capacity of a general multiple-antenna equal-gain receive combining (EGC) scheme with an arbitrary number of antennas at high signal-to-noise (SNR) ratio. As will be shown, the proposed approach which is based on Taylor expansion provides a powerful tool for analysis of EGC schemes in terms of diversity and outage capacity. A small RF coil produces MR images with a higher resolution compared to the commercial volume MR coils from mass limited samples.     This paper considers a cloud-RAN architecture with cache-enabled multi-antenna Edge Nodes (ENs) that deliver content to cache-enabled end-users. The ENs are connected to a central server via limited-capacity fronthaul links, and, based on the information received from the central server and the cached contents, they transmit on the shared wireless medium to satisfy users' requests.
