    In this paper, we consider the uplink of the narrowband multicell multiuser massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. In traditional approaches, orthogonal pilots among users of all (interfering) cells are utilized to estimate their channels assumed to be constant during channel coherence time. However, in multicell scenarios, such schemes suffer from pilot contamination. In order to address this issue, based on asymptotic pairwise orthogonality of the users' channels in massive regime, blind channel estimation schemes have been proposed.     A significant challenge in spectrum sensing is to lessen the signal to noise ratio needed to detect the presence of primary users while the noise level may also be unknown. To meet this challenge, multi-antenna based techniques possess a greater efficiency compared to other algorithms. In a typical compact multi-antenna system, due to small interelement spacing, mutual coupling between thermal noises of adjacent receivers is significant.     The authors deal with the robust design of multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) space-time transmit code (STTC) and space-time receive filter (STRF) for a point-like target embedded in signal-dependent interference.     Reducing the computational complexity as well as convergence time is the main task of adaptive antenna array processing. This article proposes an improved algorithm for estimating the weights of adaptive array elements based on Constant Modulus Algorithm (CMA).     Next generation wideband and ultra-wideband radar antenna arrays need efficient true-time delay networks for array control. Optical beam-forming networks have been considered as a promising solution in such arrays. Performance analysis of optical beam-formers is thus quiet necessary. In this paper signal to noise ratio and dynamic range of simple optical beam-forming structures are investigated with a custom microwave CAD tool.     In image hiding we embed a secret image into a cover image. In order to minimize the distortion of secret image, we presented a novel steganographic method based on content-aware seam carving. In this paper, we propose a new image hiding method in which, the secret image is initially classified based on image complexity measure. Then it is resized to an appropriate smaller size, but for having the important objects of the image in resized image we use seam carving method that resizes an image whereas the important content of it remains.     Abstract
    A carbon paste electrode (CPE) chemically modified with TiO2 nanoparticles and quinizarine (QZ) was used as a selective electrochemical sensor for the simultaneous determination of minor amounts of d-penicillamine (D-PA) and tryptophan (Trp). This modified electrode showed very efficient electrocatalytic activity for anodic oxidation of both d-PA and Trp. Substantial decreases of anodic overpotentials for both compounds made this analysis possible. Results of square wave voltammetry (SWV) using this modified electrode showed two well-resolved anodic waves for the oxidation of d-PA and Trp, which makes the simultaneous determination of both compounds possible.     Waveform design for target identification and classification in MIMO radar systems has been studied in several recent works. While the previous works assumed that the noise was independent of the transmission signals, here we extend the results to the signal dependent noise (clutter). We consider two scenarios. In the first scenario it is assumed that different transmit antennas see uncorrelated aspects of the target. In the second scenario, we consider the correlated target. As clutter is dependent to signal, target estimation error cannot vanish only by increasing the transmission power.
