    The Internet-of-Things (IoT) spans various applications in healthcare filed, from smart wearable or implantable sensors to remote monitoring of elderly, and medical device networking. In this paper, a jamming-resistant scheme for the healthcare IoT is proposed to provide secure and reliable data transmission in a two-hop cooperative network, where a source communicates with a destination in the presence of an untrusted relay and an active adversary.     In this paper we study the performance of Spectrally-Encoded Spread-Time (SE/ST) technique when applied to ultrawideband (UWB) signals in the context of wireless code-division multiple-access (CDMA) communication. In this technique UWB pulses are spectrally encoded with pseudorandom codes that are assigned uniquely to each user.     The lateral movement of a liquefiable layer on gently slopes is the most visible and devastating type of liquefaction-induced ground failure.     Fire spread in a road tunnel and its transmission from one vehicle to another was investigated numerically in this study. FDS was used as an open-source, free CFD software. Two boxes close to the car’s dimensions were modeled in a 40m long tunnel and fire transmission from one to another was considered.
