    Abstract
    In this paper, the neutron noise based on transport theory and diffusion noise theory using Green's function technique is calculated. As the neutron noise is used for core diagnostic, surveillance and monitoring, calculation of neutron noise precisely can play an important role in monitoring and safety. We compare the accuracy of Green's function based on transport and diffusion theory in order to survey the differences between these theories. In this study some deviation between results obtained two theories are observed, and the impact of dimensions, cross sections and frequency on the results investigated. © 2017

    Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are one of the most promising emerging energy-conversion technologies because of their high power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) and potentially low fabrication cost. To improve PCE, it is necessary to develop PSCs with good interfacial engineering to reduce the trap states and carrier transport barriers present at the various interfaces of the PSCs' architecture.     In this paper, we study the electrical transport and Negative Differential Resistance (NDR) in a single molecular conductor consisting of a cysteine sandwiched between two Au(111) electrodes via the Density Functional Theory-based Nonequilibrium Green's Function (DFT-NEGF) method.     This paper describes an attempt to develop congestion indices for a developing country with a limited sampling. Speed and flow rate information was collected from urban highway traffic flow videotaping in Iran. Video display provided information for traffic modeling when, similar to most of the developing nations, Iran does not have locally developed highway capacity manuals.     We examine the olfactory discrimination of left- and right-handed enantiomers of chiral odorants based on the odorant-mediated electron transport from a donor to an acceptor of the olfactory receptors embodied in a biological environment. The chiral odorant is effectively described by an asymmetric double-well potential whose minima are associated to the left- and right-handed enantiomers.     Abstract
    The effect of spin dependent recombination on the transport properties of magnetic semiconductors is investigated theoretically. In particular, for p -type direct band gap semiconductors, a theory based on classic Shockley equations is formulated. In this theory the density of spin and charge has been evaluated analytically by solving the diffusive transport equation and it is shown that the difference between recombination rates affect the lifetimes of spin and charge significantly. It is also demonstrated that a considerable spin charge coupling occur. Application of this theory to pure band to band recombination process is discussed. © 2009 American Institute of Physics
