Named Entity Recognition (NER) is one of the most important tasks in natural language processing. Improving performance in this task benefits other tasks. However, with the rapid expansion of text volume and diversity, significant challenges have emerged in this area. This thesis proposes a model to address the problem of multi-domain Named Entity Recognition. Traditional approaches used for multi-domain NER often have considerable limitations. Abstract
Graceful labeling is one of the best known labeling methods of graphs. Despite the large number of papers published on the subject of graph labeling, there are few particular techniques to be used by researchers to gracefully label graphs. In this paper, first a new approach based on the mathematical programming technique is presented to model the graceful labeling problem. Then a “branching method” is developed to solve the problem for special classes of graphs. Computational results show the efficiency of the proposed algorithm for different classes of graphs. Abstract
This study presents and analyses a novel joint detection and parameters estimation of multiple targets using a co-located multiple input/multiple output radar with moving platform, in the presence of clutter and background noise. A notable feature of the proposed approach is that clutter cancellation is independent of received data. Moreover, to decrease the computational load, the authors propose to perform the target detection and parameters estimation by directly processing on the compressive measurements as opposed to Nyquist samples. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology

The research focused on developing polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) nanocomposites with enhanced piezoelectric and mechanical properties. To achieve this, barium titanate nanoplatelets (BTNPs) were incorporated at varying weight percentages into a PVDF matrix. Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printing was employed to control nanoplatelets' orientation, aiming to improve properties. The algorithm implements Durand-Kerner's method and consists of two phases: initialisation, and iteration.
