    Large-scale simulation of spiking neural networks on hardware with a remarkable resemblance to their mathematical models is a key objective of the neuromorphic discipline.     We consider a production system with a single product and two classes of customers. Customers are segmented into two classes: 1) loyal and 2) occasional. Each class has a different shortage cost for the system. The demand of the customer classes is assumed to be stochastic and price sensitive, and distributed as a Poisson process. The objective is to determine the inventory rationing as well as pricing policies in order to maximise the profit function of the system.     This paper considers dynamic pricing in a production system with a single product which is demanded by several customer classes. We seek the structure of the optimal policy assuming m available prices and n demand classes that differ based on the lost sales cost they impose on the system. The assumption of different available prices leads to dynamic pricing structure and the assumption of several demand classes leads to rationing which is proposed in the literature of revenue management.     In this study a 2D cubic chamber model filled with paraffin is analyzed with and without the inclusion of magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles at concentrations of 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 wt%, and an external magnetic field of intensities 0.005, 0.01, 0.015 and 0.02 T. It is ascertained that adding magnetic nanoparticles leads the horizontal temperature gradient to be reduced owing to increments in thermal conductivity.     The globular structure of M2 high speed steel in the rolled - annealed and as cast conditions was investigated in the semisolid state. Metallographic observations resulted in globular austenite particles that were surrounded by a liquid phase. Dissolution of various carbides in the austenite phase at semisolid temperatures led to grain boundary liquation and formation of near-spherical solid grains in a liquid matrix. Therefore, at the semisolid state, the solid particles were free from carbides.     In this work, a new approach is described for the calculation of the relaxation time and magnetic anisotropy energy of magnetic nanoparticles. Ferrofluids containing monodispersed magnetite nanoparticles were synthesized via hydrothermal method and then heated using the 10 kA/m external AC magnetic fields in three different frequencies: 10, 50 and 100 kHz.     An industrial condensate stabilizer unit is simulated with HYSYS 3.1 software when the excessive water is present on the trays. Effects of reboiler temperature, excess water flow rate, and incoming stream temperature on the Reid vapor pressure (RVP), temperature distribution along the column and impurity concentrations along the stabilization column, as well as, energy usage are studied.     The primary source of surgical site infection is the deposition of flakes released from the exposed skin of surgical staff or the patient on the exposed surgical wound. In this study, a computational model for simulating air ow and thermal conditions in an operating room is developed, and transport and deposition of particulate contaminants near the wound are analyzed. The results show the formation of a thermal plume over the wound tissue, which is typically at a higher temperature than the surrounding.
