    Studying the performance of flow meters is of great importance in order to improve their quality. In this study, we are looking for an optimal design for a turbine flow meter in which the measurement accuracy, pressure drop and response speed indices are improved. For this purpose, a turbine flow meter with a diameter of 2 inches has been selected and its performance has been numerically modeled using computational fluid dynamics in a steady and transient state.     The Chemiluminescence method is considered as one of the most widely optical methods that used for identifying combustion systems. In this study, the OH^* and CH^* Chemiluminescence signals were measured with the use of PMT detector and other optical equipments for a bunsen burner. Also the effect of equivalence ratio and flow rate on these signals have been investigated. The results show that with increasing flow rate, OH^* and CH^* signals increase linearly. By changing the equivalence ratio, both signals were maximized near stoichiometric condition (OH^* in lean side and CH^* in the rich side).
