Abstract
A numerical study on mixing/segregation phenomena in a pressurized fluidized bed with large particles of Geldart D type of binary density but same diameter with high velocity gas was performed by the use of discrete particle simulation. Particle mixtures are composed of spherical particles with 2mm diameter and 1g/cm3 flotsam density and different jetsam densities of 1.25, 2 and 2.5g/cm3 with jetsam volume fraction of 0.5. This research focuses on a sensitivity analysis of accumulators configuration in a Large Break Loss of Coolant Accident (LB-LOCA) in Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). In this way, primary and secondary side components are modeled using RELAP5/MOD3.3 code. Having modeled the BNPP in a steady state hot full power operation, the thermal hydraulic consequences of a LB-LOCA in the reactor inlet is considered and sensitivity analysis for four major different configurations of accumulators are studied in detail. In this article, the vibration frequency of an orthotropic nanoplate under the effect of temperature change is investigated. Using nonlocal elasticity theory, governing equations are derived. Based on the generalized differential quadrature method for cantilever and propped cantilever boundary conditions, the frequencies of orthotropic nanoplates are considered and the obtained results are compared with valid reported results in the literature. Gas-oil gravity drainage that takes place in the gas-invaded zone of fractured reservoirs is the main production mechanism of gas-cap drive fractured reservoirs as well as fractured reservoirs subjected to gas injection. Interaction of neighboring matrix blocks through reinfiltration and capillary continuity effects controls the efficiency of gravity drainage. Background: Tetrabrombisphenol A (TBBPA) is one of the major brominated flame retardants (BFRs) used in waste mobile phone printed circuit boards (WMPPCB) that accounts for approximately 60% of the total BFR market. Methods: The potential of TBBPA removal from WMPPCB leached solution was investigated using micelle-enhanced ultrafiltration (MEUF) in the presence of cationic, anionic, and nonionic surfactants. Static recrystallization and microstructural changes in austenitic stainless steel 304L were studied. The rolling experiments at 200 °C were carried out, and then, annealing treatment was made at temperatures ranging between 500 and 830 °C. A model was also developed to simulate the kinetics of non-isothermal recrystallization within the rolled steel. Abstract
A new conceptual framework of collective orientation in team contexts has recently been proposed in terms of vertical and horizontal dimensions of idiocentrism and allocentrism. A two-phase longitudinal study of 270 university students engaged in 86 academic groups partly confirmed the conceptualization by identifying four interpretable factors: vertical and horizontal idiocentrism, horizontal allocentrism, and avoiding arguments. The results of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses and a structural model of relationships between the four dimensions in both phases of the study are reported in this article. © 2007 Sage Publications
