    Abstract
Targeted drug delivery using nanocarriers (NCs) is one of the novel techniques that has recently been used to improve drug delivery to the Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) disease. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the surface density of NCs (SDNC) adhered via ligand-receptor binding to the inner wall of AAA. For this purpose, fluid–structure interaction (FSI) analysis was first performed for the patient-specific and ideal AAA models. Then, by injecting NCs into the aortic artery, the values of SDNC adhered to and interacted with AAA wall were obtained. Two types of NCs, liposomes, and solid particles in four different diameters, were used to investigate the effect of the diameter and...

    Abstract
Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is an irreversible bulge in the artery with higher prevalence among the elderlies. Increase of the aneurysm diameter by time is a fatal phenomenon which will lead to its sidewall rupture. Invasive surgical treatments are vital in preventing from AAA development. These approaches however have considerable side effects. Targeted drug delivery using microbubbles (MBs) has been recently employed to suppress the AAA growth. The present study is aimed to investigate the surface adhesion of different types of drug-containing MBs to the inner wall of AAA through ligand-receptor binding, using fluid-structure interaction (FSI) simulation by using a patient CT-scan...

    Abstract
Given the growing installed capacity, wind energy will exert a profound impact on the flexibility of modern energy systems. Wind power forecasting is a practical solution for dealing with the attributed variations and uncertainties, balancing supply and demand, and improving the reliability of the system. To achieve more accurate and generalizable forecast models, comprehensive data sets, supplied by multiple wind farms owing to their spatio-temporal dependencies, are required. In addition, data aggregation/collaboration across many wind farms scattered around a country is difficult, if not impossible, due to complex administrative processes, industry competition, and data privacy and...

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Amani, Pourya (Author) ; Haddadpour, Hassan (Supervisor)
    Abstract
In Mechanical systems there is always possibility of statical and dynamical following force. These forces are generated due to aerodynamic pressure, temperature gradient, and jet thrusters. In unstabel systems, if the value of this force exceeds a certaim amount the system becomes unstable. This value is called as critical force. In order to analyse these systems, fisrt of all, the governing dynamic equations are obtained by using the Galerkin-Ritz method. Then, by utilising the modal analysis, these equation are uncoupled. And then, the Ito set of equations are derived. By utilising the Lyapanov method, Ito equations are transfered to another state. and using the fokker-planc equation the...

    Abstract
The universal paradigm shift towards green energy has accelerated the development of modern algorithms and technologies, among them converters such as Z-Source Inverters (ZSI) are playing an important role. ZSIs are single-stage inverters which are capable of performing both buck and boost operations through an impedance network that enables the shoot-through state. Despite all advantages, these inverters are associated with the non-minimum phase feature imposing heavy restrictions on their closed-loop response. Moreover, uncertainties such as parameter perturbation, unmodeled dynamics, and load disturbances may degrade their performance or even lead to instability, especially when...

    Abstract
Four metal dithiocarbamate complexes (Zn, Ni, Hg and Sn) based on an amine containing pyridyl and nitrile groups, 3-((pyridin-2-yl)methylamino)propanenitrile, were prepared and characterized by their elemental analysis, spectroscopic data (such as IR, 1H and 13C NMR), TGA analysis and X-ray crystallography of the Ni(II) complex. The presence of a band in the 1000 cm-1 region in the IR spectra, without any splitting, confirms the symmetrical bidentate bonding mode of the dithiocarbamate ligand. Also, the short thioureide C=N distance in the X-ray analysis of the Ni complex confirms the delocalization of π electrons over the S2CN moiety and strong double bond character between the carbon and...

    Abstract
A new high step-up boost converter with an active clamp circuit to eliminate voltage spike caused by leakage inductor is introduced in this paper. The introduced power converter has a high voltage gain for variable input voltage from 48V to 80V. Since both main and auxiliary switches turn on with zero voltage switching (ZVS) and all the diodes turn off under zero current switching (ZCS) condition, switching losses and EMI noises are strongly degraded. Therefore, the converter's efficiency is improved significantly. Simulation results show a 96.4% peak efficiency and 95.4% average efficiency. The proposed topology is suitable for low-input-voltage and low-output power applications such as...
