    Abstract
    Temporal interpolation has been recently proposed as a solution for increasing temporal resolution or even for predicting missing or corrupted frames within a video sequence . In this paper new technique on temporal interpolation are presented, by mainly exploiting properties of the very popular and highly efficient transforms such as Discrete Cosine Transform and Discrete Wavelet Transform . Novelty of the approach is that resolution enhancement is done by adding the new coefficients in transform domain . In addition we further give a method for computing PSNR of the frames .     Abstract
    This paper deals with a refined analysis and modification of existing results on the flocking algorithms proposed for the second order dynamic agents. In the present work, the limiting condition of ever connectivity is removed and it is proved that the flocking can be reached if only the union of the network proximity graphs during nonoverlapping time intervals becomes connected frequently enough. Also, it is proved that including a static virtual leader cannot model the group objective of achieving the desired velocity and it will stop eventually at a predefined point in the space.     Abstract
    This paper studies flocking algorithms for multi-agent systems with directed switching velocity interaction topologies. It is assumed that the position information of each agent is available for agents within its neighborhood region of radius r, however, they communicate the velocity information between each other through unidirectional links modeled by a particular class of directed topologies. A new energy function is defined to analyze the global stability and a sufficient condition is derived for asymptotic flocking in the face of switching topologies.     Abstract
    This paper deals with the average consensus problem in a multi-agent system with switching interaction topology modeled as a weighted digraph. The convergence analysis is performed in both discrete-time and continuous-time dynamics based on the theory of infinite matrix products. Conditions for system convergence to average consensus are derived in the form of constraints on direct and reverse graphs and the structure of adjacency elements among the agents. Furthermore, a sufficient condition is provided for convergence to average consensus in systems in which the interaction topology is balanced over infinite contiguous non-overlapping time intervals instead of being balanced continuously....

    Abstract
    In this paper, we develop control algorithms for addressing second-order consensus problems in intrinsically second-order nonlinear multi-agent dynamical systems with switching topologies. The proposed adaptive controller applies a leader-following strategy in which all agents are assumed to be informed of the leader's state. Another feature of this work which specifically distinguishes it from others is that the proposed controller uses undirected and directed graphs to accommodate for a full range of possible graph information topologies without limitations of bidirectional communication

    Abstract
    In this paper, we present sufficient conditions to address a larger class of digraphs, including balanced ones, whose members' Laplacian (L) makes L 1L + LTL1 to be positive semi-definite, where L1 is the Laplacian associated with a fully connected equally-edged weighted graphs. This property can be later utilized to introduce an appropriate energy function for stability analysis of flocking algorithms in a larger class of networks with switching directed information flow.     Abstract
    In this paper, we propose and analyze flocking algorithms in a network of second-order agents with bounded control inputs and nonlinear intrinsic dynamics. We consider a general switching network topology, for velocity information exchange, rather than undirected or fixed directed network topology with a directed spanning tree. The proposed adaptive controller architecture applies a leader-following strategy in which the pinning scheme is defined based on the interaction topology.     Abstract
    In this paper, we propose a class of second-order continuous-time consensus protocols in networks with bounded communication delay and switching interaction topologies. We present a sufficient condition under which the information states of all agents approach common values. The convergence analysis relies on properties of nonnegative matrices and graph theory and requires that the union of communication graphs has a spanning tree over a bounded period of time. In addition, convergence in leader-following consensus is proved for switching topology and time-varying agents' awareness. Also the appropriate feedback gains are computed via given mathematical relations

    Production of Mixed-Matrix Composite Membranes Based on Metal-Organic Framework/Polyvinylidene Fluoride for Desalination of High Saline Water in Membrane Distillation

    Abstract
    In this study, membrane distillation was used for desalination of high saline water. Recently, the synthesis of nanoparticles for the synthesis of membranes for membrane distillation has shown incredible improvement in the morphological properties, flux, and rejection. In this study, by incorporating UiO-66 functionalized with Palmitic acid into PVDF/PEG polymer solution we could improve membranes properties. Functionalization of UiO-66 with Palmitic acid was confirmed with FTIR, XRD, BET, SEM. In the membrane containing 3% Palmitic acid-UiO-66, the flux was increased by 46.5%, resulting in a flux of 12.6 LMH, and the salt rejection was improved from 99.5% to 99.9%.
