Short-circuit fault (SCF) detection is mandatory in a high voltage DC power supply (HVPS) to prevent fatal damage. The majority of converters employ a single sensor to detect the SCF. Hybrid Lead sulfide-graphene Quantum Dots: Optoelectronic Properties and Cytotoxicity Evaluation

Abstract
In recent years, quantum dots specially NIR QDs like lead sulfide have attracted a lot of attentions in various bioapplications such as bioimaging, stem cell tracking, etc. However, these materials are generally synthesized by using organic lagands like oleic acid which is not appropriate for bioapplications. Moreover, the cytotoxicity of these materials have severely restricted their applications. In this research, lead sulfide quantum dots were synthesized via a hot injection route. The nanocrystals had an average size of 3 nm passivated with oleic acid ligands and graphene nanosheets. Vacuum tubes are widely used for various applications. These vacuum tubes are supplied by high voltage power supplies. The amount of delivered energy from the high voltage power supply to the vacuum tube is an important issue during the vacuum arc in the tube. We have investigated the pathways of stability for NHCs derived from azole, di-azole, n-tetrazole, and ab-tetrazole (1a, 2a, 3a, and 4a, respectively), at the M06/6-311++G** level of theory. Optimization and vibrational frequency calculations of ground states (GS) and transition states (TS) are performed to identify Gibbs free energies and nature of stationary points, respectively. Membrane bioreactors (MBRs) which are commonly understood as the combination of membrane filtration and biological treatment using activated sludge have several advantages, but membrane fouling reduces the membrane efficiency, permeability and lifetime. An alternative is replacing a moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) with the activated sludge system which may reduce the effect of membrane fouling. This paper is a counterfactual analysis investigating the consequences of the formation of a currency union for Canada and the USA: whether outputs increase and prices decrease if these countries form a currency union. We use a two-country cointegrated model to conduct the counterfactual analysis, where the conditional forecasts are generated based on the Gaussian assumption. To deal with structural breaks and model uncertainty, conditional forecasts are generated from different models/estimation windows and the model-averaging technique is used to combine the forecasts.
