In this research, we consider the application of copulas in multivariate quality control problems. In particular, we consider two specific problems. The first problem concerns the situation where the normality assumption is rejected. In this case, copulas can be used as a flexible tool to define a broad range of multivariate distributions with different dependence structure as well as marginal distributions. Abstract
In this paper, a density-dependent endochronic plasticity is presented for modelling the isothermal deformation behaviour of metal powder at low homologous temperature. As large deformation is observed in powder compaction process, a hypoelastic-plastic formulation is developed in the context of finite deformation plasticity. Constitutive equations are stated in unrotated frame of reference that greatly simplifies endochronic constitutive relation for finite plasticity. In this paper, the numerical modelling of the powder forming process is simulated by a finite element analysis using a density-dependent endochronic plasticity model. An endochronic constitutive model based on large strain plasticity is presented. Abstract
An endochronic constitutive model for cold powder compaction processes is developed. Although the concept of yield surface has not been explicitly assumed in the endochronic theory, it is demonstrated that the cone-cap yield surface can be derived as a special case of the proposed endochronic model. In this study, using Reddy's layer-wise theory, thermal and rotational inter-laminar stress distribution within cylindrical composite shells with different boundary conditions is analytically studied. Convergence of the layer-wise theory is also studied and the numbers of sub-layers are determined so that efficient and accurate results can be achieved by this method. In this work the transesterification reaction of waste cooking oil in the present of solid catalyst as a type of solid-liquid catalytic reaction, has been studied. For this purpose, two types of alkali solid catalysts were synthesized. CaO-ZrO2 and KOH/γ-Al2O3 catalysts were prepared by co-precipitation and impregnation method, respectively.
