Synthesis of Palladium Nanowires for Hydrogen Gas Sensor by Field Ionization
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Irajizad, Azam (Supervisor)
Abstract
The interesting properties of metallic nanowires provide many applications in electronic sensors. In this project, we have synthesized Pd nanowires using electrodeposition method. These nanowires are useful for hydrogen sensors by measuring field ionization current in gas. In this project, Pd nanowires were synthesized by electrochemical deposition method in PCT template with 100 nm pore size. The used solution was contained 2mM PdCl2 + 0.1M HCl. The best reduction potential was determined about -0.2V and the best time for synthesizing nanowires was 7 minutes. Chronoampermetric diagrams showed four steps, capacitive current, growth in the holes, reaching to the surface of PCT and the growth...

Abstract
This paper is concerned with tele-presence and tele-operation of autonomous vehicles over the Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel. This wireless communication channel is subject to transmission noise and transmission power constraint. An encoder, decoder and controller are proposed by implementing a novel linearization method for linearizing the nonlinear dynamic systems at operating points. For the linearized systems, the encoder, decoder and controller are implemented that were previously proposed for output tracking as well as stability of linear dynamic systems. Two novel linearization methods are proposed and their satisfactory performances are proved for output tracking as...

Abstract
Due to the wide usage of rotary equipment and the necessity of their testing for maintenance and repair, test rigs have become necessary. The mechanical closed-loop test rig developed in Sharif University of Technology branch of ACECR (Academic Centre of Education, Culture and Research) is a test rig with low energy losses that is suitable for testing high power gearboxes such as aerospace or wind turbine gearboxes. It can be loaded up to 489Hp at a maximum speed of 3000 rpm, and the test components can be tested in different testing conditions including a variety of torques and speeds. This paper describes the preliminary, conceptual, and detailed design, steps including frame work design,...
