    Geomechanical Model for Well Path Optimization Based on Inclination, Azimuth and ROP

    Abstract
    The wellbore instability increases the cost of drilling operations due to problems such as pipe sticking and lost circulation, so it is important to find the optimal well path. In this research, building a one-dimensional geomechanical model is investigated, and then the wellbore stability during drilling in different layers is evaluated. The geomechanical model is constructed using available data (well log data, mud logging unit data, and drilling reports) in a study reservoir and the optimal well path is determined by the appropriate inclination and azimuth using the geomechanical properties of the field and the stress regime, taking into account the wellbore stability and shear failure...

    Topology control algorithms in mobile ad-hoc networks aim to reduce the power consumption while keeping the topology connected. These algorithms can preserve network resources and increase network capacity. However, few efforts have focused on the issue of topology control in presence of node mobility.     This paper analyzes the outsourcing model that Boeing devised to develop its latest commercial airplane model: Dreamliner (B787). The development of this airplane, which seemed to be very promising in the beginning, turned into the longest delayed program in the history of the company. In this paper, we propose an integrated outsourcing framework through which we try to find the root causes of the delays and the resulted extra costs.     Advanced gas turbine cycles use advanced blade cooling technologies to reach high turbine inlet temperature. Accurate modeling and optimization of these cycles depend on blade cooling model. In this study, different models have been used to simulate gas turbine performance. The first model is the continuous model and the second is stage-by-stage model with alternative methods for calculating coolant, stagnation pressure loss and SPR.     The purposes of this paper are determination of the current density and safety factor profiles, J(r) and q(r), in IR-T1 tokamak. For these purposes, a diamagnetic loop with its compensation coil, and also an array of magnetic probes were designed, constructed, and installed on outer surface of the IR-T1 tokamak chamber, and then the poloidal beta and poloidal and radial magnetic fields measured.
