Recovery of Uranium(VI) from UCF Waste by Selective Transportacross Aliquid Membrane

Due to environmental and economical impacts, recovery of the uranium from nuclear wastes is of continuing interest.This work reports the separation of uranyl ionusing transport technique through chloroform liquid membrane containing a mixture of DBDA15C4 and oleic acidas cooperative carrier.The pH of the feed phase (10-4 M of UO22+) was adjusted with nitric acid and acetic acid/NaOH for pHrange of 2-6.The receiving phase was hydrochloric acid 1M.The organic phase was chloroform which includesthe carrier DBDA15C4 (0.0001 M) and also the oleic acid (0.015M).The results showed that the transport increased with increasing pH and reached to maximumat pH of 5.Maximum cooperative effect of oleic...

In this study, granular activated carbon has been modified by potassium nickel hexacyanoferrate ( KNCF), sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) and ammonium per sulfate(APS) as new adsorbents for cesium, cobalt and chromium(VI), respectively. Abstract
Uranium (VI) sorption using an anionic exchanger resin, namely Amberlite IRA910, in the presence of sulfate anions was the subject of current study. Batch sorption experiments were carried out to evaluate the influence of operational parameters such as pH, contact time, initial concentration and existence of various anions (including phosphate, sulfate, chloride, fluoride, and nitrate) in the solution on Amberlite IRA910 sorption behavior. Experiments revealed that uranium adsorption was fulfiled at pH>3 and 50 min to amount of 80%. Kinetics study revealed that the pseudo-second-order model showed better curve-fitting regression of the experimental data than the pseudo-first-order one....

A one-pot Cu-catalyzed synthesis of functionalized alkynyl imidamide by terminal alkynes, trichloroacetonitrile and aniline or benzyl amine is reported. The compounds were produced via coupling reaction of terminal alkynes with trichloroacetamidine. In this paper, a fuzzy random minimum cost flow problem is presented. In this problem, cost parameters and decision variables are fuzzy random variables and fuzzy numbers respectively. The object of the problem is to find optimal flows of a capacitated network. Then, two algorithms are developed to solve the problem based on Er-expected value of fuzzy random variables and chance-constrained programming. Furthermore, the results of two algorithms will be compared. An illustrative example is also provided to clarify the concept

Abstract
In this paper, we will discuss two special classes of mathematical programming models with fuzzy random variables. In the first model, a linear programming problem with fuzzy decision variables and fuzzy random coefficients is introduced. Then an algorithm is developed to solve the model based on fuzzy optimization method and fuzzy ranking method. In the second model, a fuzzy random quadratic spanning tree problem is presented. Then the proposed problem is formulated and solved by using the scalar expected value of fuzzy random variables.
