Interference Reduction and Cancellation by Beamforming in Cognitive Radios
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Nasiri Kenari, Masoumeh (Supervisor)
Abstract
Cognitive Radio (CR), as a new concept to efficiently utilize a licensed spectrum, and this has received intensive attension in recent years. By applying the cognitive technique, an unlicensed user (the secondary user (SU)) is allowed to transmit at the Primary User’s (PU) spectrum band under some conditions. Different approaches have been introduced to be utilized by the SU in order to be able to efficiently transmit at the PR’s spectrum without any sustainsial destructive effects on PR transmission and reception, which one of them is using multiple antenna in the cognitive transmitter. Hereby, CR is able to increase its throughput without substansial harmfull effect on PR’ transmission by...
Provide and Implement of Labor and Machinery Performance Measuring Patterns in Large Scale Concrete Building Projects
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Mortaheb, Mohammad Mehdi (Supervisor)
Abstract
According to the principles of the country 20-year outlook charter Iran as a developing nation should be ranked first in economic, scientific and technological status in the region. Productivity improvement in all fields is one of the key essentials for realization of stable economic growth. Construction industry in developing countries contributes a major share of gross domestic product (GDP). It has a crucial bearing on economic growth, therefore enhancement of performance indicators in this industry will result in economic development of the country. This research project has offered a pattern for measuring and analyzing labor and machinery productivity in large scale construction. This...
Unmanned Quadrotor
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Bagheri Shouraki, Saeed (Supervisor)
Abstract
In this thesis a complete Autonomous system is designed and implemented, in which the motion of quadrotor is controlled based on visual feedback for achieve to a desired coordinate in the 3D space. We focus on developing a cost effective and easy-to-setup vision system. Active markers were finely designed to improve visibility under various perspective as well as robustness towards disturbances in the image-based pose estimation. Moreover, a path generator is implemented with A* algorithm to suggest shortest path with abstackle avoidance option to traverse the path. In next step we tackle to design a wifi interface to communicate with quadrotor. In this step we use a HM-TR serial wifi...

Abstract
The accuracy of five soft computing techniques was assessed for the prediction of monthly streamflow of the Gilgit river basin by a cross-validation method. The five techniques assessed were the feed-forward neural network (FFNN), the radial basis neural network (RBNN), the generalised regression neural network (GRNN), the adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system with grid partition (Anfis-GP) and the adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system with subtractive clustering (Anfis-SC). The interaction between temperature and streamflow was considered in the study. Two statistical indexes, mean square error (MSE) and coefficient of determination (R2), were used to evaluate the performances of the...

Abstract
As of late quantum calculus is broadly utilized in different parts of mathematics. Uniquely, the hypothesis of univalent functions can be newly portrayed by utilizing q-calculus. In this paper, we utilize our recently presented symmetric p,q-number m p,q to characterize new symmetric p,q-derivative D p,q of analytic function f in the open unit disk U. Utilizing D p,q, we introduce new class of analytic star-like functions and examine some fascinating results. © 2021 Khalid Akbar et al

Abstract
Silver nanoparticles (Ag. NPs) have shown a biological activity range, synthesized under different environment-friendly approaches. Ag. NPs were synthesized using aqueous crude extract (ACE) isolated from Plantago lanceolata. The ACE and Ag. NPs were characterized and assessed their biological and antioxidant activities. The existence of nanoparticles (NPs) was confirmed by color shift, atomic force microscopy (AFM), and UV–Vis’s spectroscopy. The FT-IR analysis indicated the association of biomolecules (phenolic acid and flavonoids) to reduce silver (Ag+) ions. The SEM study demonstrated a sphere-shaped and mean size in the range of 30 ± 4 nm. The EDX spectrum revealed that the Ag. NPs were...
