    Abstract
    This paper presents a new method for spectrophotometirc detection of sulfide applying fungal peroxidase immobilized on sodium alginate. The sensing scheme was based on decrease of the absorbance of the orange compound, purpurogallin produced from pyrogallol and H2O2 as substrates, due to the inhibition of peroxidase by sulfide. Absorbance of purpurogallin was detected at 420nm by using a spectrophotometer. The proposed method could successfully detect the sulfide in the concentration range of 0.6-7.0μM with a detection limit of 0.4μM.     In this research, Plackett–Burman experimental design was used as a screening method to investigate seven processing factors in the preparation of new polyethersulfone based porous nanocomposite membrane. Polymer concentration, nanoparticle type, nanoparticle concentration, solvent type, solution mixing time, evaporation time, and annealing temperature are variables that were evaluated to fabricate mixed matrix membranes using the evaporation phase inversion method for gas separation.     In the present work, an amperometric inhibition biosensor for the determination of sulfide has been fabricated by immobilizing Coprinus cinereus peroxidase (CIP) on the surface of screen printed electrode (SPE). Chitosan/acrylamide was applied for immobilization of peroxidase on the working electrode.     In this study TiO2 nanotubular fibers were prepared and subsequently loaded with CdS nanoparticles to obtain visible light activate nanofibers with modified structure. Preparation of TiO2 fibers was based on templating method and Liquid phase deposition technique (LPD) with cellulose fibers as templates. Results showed MZI values of 5 and 30 mm for Co3O4-NPs- and AgNPs@Chitosan against S. aureus, and 15 and 21 mm for Co3O4-NPs- and AgNPs@Chitosan against E. coli (24 h, 20 μg/mL), respectively.     Abstract
    Pure and Pd-doped WO3 Nanocrystalline tungsten oxide films on alumina substrates were prepared via sol-gel method from peroxopolytungstic acid. AFM, XRD, SEM, XPS methods were used to determine the surface morphology, grain size and layer composition. XRD analysis showed WO3 nanocrystalline particles in monoclinic phase and with average size of about 333nm, which was consistent with SEM analysis results. Sensing properties of samples toward H2 gas was studied. The sensitivity of WO3 nanocrystalline films was about 4 at 2300ppm (0.2%) H2 gas. Introducing Pd to the system led to an increase in the sensitivity about 2 orders of magnitude. The sensitivity of Pd: WO3 was about 400 at 2300ppmH2
