Review the Challenges of Modern Science, The Need to use Force in Self-Knowledge Production

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Ghanei, Rashid (Author) ; Hosseini, Hassan (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Undoubtedly today for all scholars and intellectuals have been established in various countries to obtain the knowledge and abilities would create amassing wealth for their scientific, The twenty-first century, therefore, important to develop methods of science are two-fold.
However, in today's world, science has been faced with many problems that it solves, many scientists and philosophers of science of the mind is engaged, Despite the many advances in medical problems, for example, that there are still many problems in the treatment of diseases, And this, according to many scientists in different fields of scientific expert has been approved.
But given the history of Muslim...

Event-triggered Strategies in Encrypted Control Systems

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Ghanei, Hannah (Author) ; Tavazoei, Mohammad Saleh (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Event-triggered control is used in various systems because of its capacity to optimize resources, improve responsiveness, and increase efficiency. Unlike the old time-based approaches, event-based control executes the necessary actions only when certain events or conditions occur, leading to the desired response. This strategy is used in scenarios where events occur irregularly, or are difficult to predict, and allows the system to conserve resources by maintaining the current state until the control signal needs to be updated. An event-triggered control strategy implemented using a secret sharing scheme enhances security across multiple systems; Especially in scenarios where sensitive...

The Effects of Earthquake on the Possibility of Obtaining a High School Diploma

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Hashemi, Hannah Sadat (Author) ; Vesal, Moahammd (Supervisor)
    Abstract
This study examines the effects of natural disaster risk, specifically earthquakes, on the likelihood of obtaining a high school diploma. By analyzing data related to earthquake occurrences and educational attainment, the research aims to identify potential disruptions caused by seismic activities and how they influence students' ability to complete their high school education. The findings contribute to a better understanding of the socio-economic impacts of natural disasters on educational outcomes, providing insights for policymakers to mitigate these risks in earthquake-prone areas

Deep Learning for Visual Tracking: A Comprehensive Survey

    Abstract
Visual target tracking is one of the most sought-after yet challenging research topics in computer vision. Given the ill-posed nature of the problem and its popularity in a broad range of real-world scenarios, a number of large-scale benchmark datasets have been established, on which considerable methods have been developed and demonstrated with significant progress in recent years - predominantly by recent deep learning (DL)-based methods. This survey aims to systematically investigate the current DL-based visual tracking methods, benchmark datasets, and evaluation metrics. It also extensively evaluates and analyzes the leading visual tracking methods. First, the fundamental...

    Abstract
We consider the problem of tracking an unknown small target from aerial videos of medium to high altitudes. This is a challenging problem, which is even more pronounced in unavoidable scenarios of drastic camera motion and high density. To address this problem, we introduce a context-aware IoU-guided tracker (COMET) that exploits a multitask two-stream network and an offline reference proposal generation strategy. The proposed network fully exploits target-related information by multi-scale feature learning and attention modules. The proposed strategy introduces an efficient sampling strategy to generalize the network on the target and its parts without imposing extra computational...

    Abstract
Background: While there is a long history of measuring death and disability from injuries, modern research methods must account for the wide spectrum of disability that can occur in an injury, and must provide estimates with sufficient demographic, geographical and temporal detail to be useful for policy makers. The Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2017 study used methods to provide highly detailed estimates of global injury burden that meet these criteria. Methods: In this study, we report and discuss the methods used in GBD 2017 for injury morbidity and mortality burden estimation. In summary, these methods included estimating cause-specific mortality for every cause of injury, and then...
