Abstract
Organizational learning is essential for organizations to grow and survive. Organizations can gain competitive advantage through proper organizational learning. Number of studies in this field in recent years shows the importance of this issue among practioners and academics. The first step in managing organzaitonal learning is its measurement. Organizations can be provided with solutions if an appropriate measurement tool is designed. The main question of this research is whether this tool can be designed or not so that organizational learning in organizational processes can be measured. Despite the significance of organizational learning measurement, the current studies in this field lack...

Abstract
Nickel-dimethylglyoxime complex (NiDMG) modified nickel electrode (Ni/NiDMG) showed a catalytic activity towards methanol oxidation in NaOH solution. The modified electrode prepared by the dimethylglyoxime anodic deposition on Ni electrode in the solution containing 0.20 mol L-1 NH4Cl + NH4OH (pH 9.50) and 1.0 × 10-4 mol L-1 dimethylglyoxime. The modified electrode conditioned by potential recycling in a potential range of 100-700 mV (vs. SCE) by cyclic voltammetry in alkaline medium (0.10 M NaOH). The results show that the NiODMG film on the electrode behaves as an efficient catalyst for the electrooxidation of methanol in alkaline medium via Ni(III) species formed on the electrode with the...
Design & Development of a Sit to Stand and Suspension Device for Treadmill Gait Training
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Farahmand, Farzam (Supervisor) ; Saadat Foumani, Mahmoud (Supervisor)
Abstract
A high percentage of patients with lower extremitiy disability consists of those suffer from paraplegy, hemiparety, spinal cord injuries and chronic stroke. Currently, a wast variety of methods are used for gait rehabilitation of these patients. Beside physiotherapy and different types of exercises, gait trainer systems have been devloped and used recently to help patients to obtain their walking abilities. The main goal of this work was to design and develope a device to lift a patient from sitting position on a chair to standing position in a safe and balanced mode besides obtaining enough space for physiotherapist that can easily help the patient in gait training on treadmill, also to...
Study on the Factors Affecting in the Thermal Decomposition of Ammonium Uranyl Carbonate (AUC) to Uranium Dioxide (UO2)
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Otoukesh, Mohammad (Supervisor) ; khanchi, Alireza (Supervisor)
Abstract
According to the literature survey, the thermal decomposition of ammonium uranyl carbonate (AUC) is affected by different factors such as its purity and environmental conditions. Thermal treatment of this compound in the air atmosphere results in the production of at least three oxide forms of uranium (UO3, U3O8 and UO2) with different stoichiometric structure. The aim of this project was to study the effects of those parameters which play role in the decomposition of AUC and the production of UO2 compound in the presence of ammonia atmosphere. Therefore, an atmosphere control furnace was designed and constructed to establish the gas in the atmosphere of furnace chamber. On the other hand,...

Abstract
The influences of hydroxyl functional group (-OH) on the thermodynamic and structural properties of ionic liquids (ILs) composed of 1-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-3-methyl imidazolium ([C2OHmim](+)) cation and the six different conventional anions, including [Cl](-), [NO3](-), [BF4](-), [PF6](-), [TfO](-), and [Tf2N](-) have been extensively investigated using classical molecular dynamics (MD) simulations combined with ab initio calculations over a wide range of temperature (298-550 K). The volumetric thermodynamic properties, enthalpy of vaporization, cohesive energy density, Hildebrand solubility parameter, and heat capacity at constant pressure were estimated at desired temperature. The simulated...
The Relationship Between Satisfaction and Repurchase Behavior in Business in IRAN
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Moayedi, Vafa (Supervisor) ; Askariazad, Mohammad Hossein (Co-Advisor)
Abstract
This research enlarges the content of the literature related to the business switching behavior by examining why dissatisfied customers remain in relationship with their existing service provider and do not exit, in the business to business context in Iran. The study develops and tests a model investigating the factors which potentially affect on dissatisfied customers to stay in relationship and also perform upon their repurchase intention. The proposed model specifies a set of propositions among dimensions of switching barriers, switching cost, interpersonal relationship, lack of attractive of alternative, dependence, calculative commitment, service recovery, inertia, lower price, method...
Fractional factorial design for the optimization of hydrothermal synthesis of lanthanum oxide nanoparticles under supercritical water condition
, Article Journal of Supercritical Fluids ; Volume 52, Issue 3 , 2010 , Pages 292-297 ; 08968446 (ISSN) ; Abolghasemi, H ; Moosavian, M. A ; Golzary, A ; Ghannadi Maragheh, M ; Sharif University of Technology

Abstract
In this research, synthesis of lanthanum oxide nanoparticles using supercritical water as a reaction medium in batch type reactor was studied. The crystallographic identity and morphology of the synthesized nanoparticles were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The XRD patterns indicate that the well-crystallized lanthanum oxide nanocrystals can be easily obtained under the current synthetic conditions. The effect of four parameters includes temperature, reaction time; primary concentration of aqueous solution of lanthanum (III) nitrate and pH of starting solution on reaction efficiency, particle size and the BET surface area were investigated...

Abstract
Electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol on a nickel disc electrode coated with nickel dimethyglyoxime complex (NiDMG), conditioned by potential recycling in a potential range of 100-700 mV (versus SCE) is studied by cyclic voltammetry in alkaline medium (0.10 M NaOH). The results show that the NiODMG layer formed at the surface of electrode behaves as an efficient electrocatalyst for the oxidation of methanol in alkaline medium via Ni(III) species with the cross exchange reaction occurring through out the layer at a low concentration of methanol. A plausible mechanism was proposed for catalytic oxidation of methanol at this modified electrode. Moreover, the effects of various parameters such...
