    Controlling networked dynamical systems is a complex endeavor, specifically keeping in mind the fact that in many scenarios the actors that are engaged in the dynamism behave selfishly and therefore only take into account their own individual utility, a setting that has been widely studied in the field of game theory. One way that we can control the system dynamics is through the use of control parameters that are at our disposal, but finding optimal values for these parameters is a complex and time consuming task.     Herein, we demonstrated a facile method for the fabrication of magnetic and superhydrophobic polyurethane sponge with water contact angle of 159° as an adsorbent for cleanup the marine oil spill pollution. For this aim, a polyurethane sponge was coated with carbon black (CB), hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN)@Fe3O4, and acrylic resin and then characterized by different techniques.     Herein, a series of superhydrophobic thin polyacrylic resin-coated carbon black (CB)/hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN)@Fe3O4/cellulose composite papers with good flexibility, low density (~0.67 g/cm3), high electrical conductivity (~0.065 S/cm), good thermal conductivity (0.462 W.m−1. K−1), and with water contact angle (WCA) of 153° were successfully fabricated by a facile dip-coating/spraying method.     Horizontal ground heat exchangers (GHEs) have a lower cost in comparison to vertical ones; however, they require more land area. For the sake of reducing the required land area for horizontal GHEs, flat-panel GHEs have been recently introduced. In this piece of research, a 3-D numerical model has been developed to predict the thermal performance of flat-panel GHEs. In this study, at first, the thermal performance of a flat-panel GHE has been compared with that of linear horizontal ones.     Abstract
    Nitroepoxides were introduced as efficient substrates for the one-pot three-component synthesis of 2-iminothiazoles under catalyst-free conditions. Reaction of amines, isothiocyanates, and nitroepoxides in THF at 10–15 °C afforded corresponding 2-iminothiazoles in high to excellent yields. The reaction proceeds via the in situ formation of thiourea from an amine and an isothiocyanate, followed by nitroepoxide ring opening with the sulfur of thiourea, cyclization reaction, and dehydration cascade. The functional form of the RKKY interaction in pristine graphene is specified by two main features: (i) an atomic-scale oscillatory part determined by a wavevector → connecting the two valleys; with doping another longer range oscillation appears which arises from the existence of an extended Fermi surface characterized by a momentum scale kF; (ii) an algebraic Rα decay in large distances where the exponent α=-3 is a distinct feature of undoped Dirac sea in two dimensions.     Herein, polyurethane (PU) sponges were modified by multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), hexagonal boron nitride@Fe3O4 (BNF), nano graphite (nG), and acrylic resin (AR) to prepare two photothermal and electrothermal converters as efficient crude oil sorbents. The PU/MWCNT/BNF/AR and PU/nG/BNF/AR composites were able to convert electric current and sunlight to heat energy. The generated heat energy increased crude oil mobility followed by increasing crude oil penetration into the sorbent.
