    Design and Manufacturing of a Digital and an Analogue Compensators for Current Transformer (CT)

    Abstract
    Current transformers (CTs) are the most common current sensors in power system and use with measuring instruments and protective relays. Saturation of the protective CT threatens the proper operation of relays, while, the ratio error in a measuring CT directly reduces the accuracy of power system state estimation. In this dissertation, firstly, a test device has been introduced to identify the parameters of CT low-frequency model. Afterward, a digital compensator has been proposed to suppress the adverse effect of CT saturation.     In this article, transient hydrodynamic and heat-transfer behavior of Newtonian fluid flow in vertical parallel-plate channels partially filled with a porous medium has been investigated numerically. In this regard, the influences of macroscopic local inertial term and the viscous heating due to the viscous dissipation were taken into account in the momentum equations of porous region and the thermal energy equations, respectively.     Wireless broadband access has gained so much attention in recent years. IEEE 802.16d as a standard in this field has provided MAC layer and PHY layer specifications. It has adopted OFDM method for one of PHY specifications that uses 256 subcarriers. In this paper we verify the effects of subchannelization option in uplink, on bit error rates in 16QAM modulation.
