A fully coupled numerical model is developed for the modeling of the cracks in porous media with flow of two fluids using the extended finite element method.The governing equations of two-phase fluid flow in deformable porous media, which account for the coupling between various physical phenomena, are derived within the framework of the generalized Biot theory.
