Ivestigation of Some Properties of Lienard Equations

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology kanigolzari, Anvar (Author) ; Hesaaraki, Mahmoud (Supervisor)
    Abstract
In this thesis , we consider the generalized lienard system (dx/dt=1/(a(x)) [h(y)-F(x)])¦(dy/dt=-a(x)g(x) )and under suitable assumptions on a , F , g , h we obtain sufficient and necessary conditions for the intersection of all orbits with the vertical isocline y=F(x) . using these conditions we give some sufficient condition for the oscillation of solutions . then existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions for a kind of lienard equation with a deviating argument are studied . finally we study existence and uniqueness of limit cycles for the generalized lienard system(x ̇=ϕ(y)-F(x))¦(y ̇=-g(x))

Roll bonding of AA5052 and polypropylene sheets: bonding mechanisms, microstructure and mechanical properties

    , Article Journal of Adhesion ; 2016 , Pages 1-25 ; 00218464 (ISSN) Rezaei Anvar, B ; Akbarzadeh, A ; Sharif University of Technology
    Taylor and Francis Inc  2016
    Abstract
Structural, microstructural and mechanical properties in roll bonding of AA5052 and polypropylene sheets have been evaluated in this study. The surface roughness of the AA5052 sheets, rolling temperature and the surface energy of polymer were selected as the bonding variables. The findings indicated that an increase in the surface energy of polypropylene by grafting maleic anhydride would result in higher bonding strength due to chemical interaction between the AA5052 and the maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene (PP-g-MAH). In fact, this reaction caused the formation of an interphase layer at the polymer side of the interface and the diffusion of aluminum into the PP-g-MAH layer. It was...

Physical Modeling of Metal Matrix Composite Sheets With Second Phase Manufactured by Accumulative Roll Bonding (ARB) of Al-Ni Laminations

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Rezaei Anvar, Behrouz (Author) ; Akbarzadeh, Abbas (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Metallic multilayer composites provide remarkable mechanical, electrical and magnetic properties. These kinds of composites have been recently processed by severe plastic deformation (SPD) methods. Accumulative roll bonding (ARB) is one of the SPD processes in which accumulation of strain by repeating cycles, leads to the ultra fine grained materials. The goal of this research is manufacturing of Al/Ni composite sheets by ARB process considering the effects of thickness and number of initial sheets on their mechanical properties and microstructures. The initial composites were produced by commercially pure Al and Ni as the matrix and the reinforcement, respectively. Thickness of the Al...

Price competition in duopoly supply chains with stochastic demand [electronic resource]

, Article Journal Of Manufacturing Systems ; 01/2014 Mahmoodi, A. (Anvar) ; Eshghi, Kourosh ; Sharif University of Technology
    Abstract
In the literature, substantial researches have been carried out on supply chain coordination. The majority of these studies suggest a mechanism that enforces the supply chain members to follow the strategies that produce the equilibrium of an integrated supply chain. Moreover, most of researches do not consider the competition among supply chains

Evaluation of Bonding and Mechanical Properties of Metal-Polymer Sheets Manufactured by Roll Bonding

, Ph.D. Dissertation Sharif University of Technology Rezaei Anvar, Behrouz (Author) ; Akbarzadeh, Abbas (Supervisor) ; Kokabi, Amir Hossein (Co-Advisor)
    Abstract
Emission of the greenhouse gases is a great concern and use of lightweight materials in transport vehicles has found a major importance in this respect. Metal/polymer laminated composites are of great interest due to their special mechanical properties and thoughness. Application of metal/polymer sheets is limited because of low bonding strength of metals and polymers in these sheets, which is not sufficient, to endure the stresses and strains during deformation processes such as deep drawing and bending. In this research, roll bonding of AA5052/Polypropylene sheets is investigated and the effects of bonding parameters on strength are evaluated and finally the bonding mechanisms during...

Enhance the Chlorine Resistance of Reverse Osmosis Membrane

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Kehtari Anvar, Mahmood (Author) ; Mousavi, Abbas (Supervisor) ; Abdekhodaei, Mohammad Jafar (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Reverse osmosis membrane one of the common methods used for water desalination, today membrane, thin film composite(TFC) include three layers, top the these layers named selection layer, this poly amid layer contacted with feed water, sensitivity to chlorine in polyamide layer lead to high membrane chlorine sensitive. Difference methods used for enhance the chlorine resistance in polyamide membrane that categorized in three general categories, covering and protection of sensitive areas method has best results in comparison to other methods. In this research protection method choose and used, material that used, sanitized by result from surface analysis of commercial membrane manufactured in...

Design, Manufacture and Evaluation of Water-Based Drilling Fluid Suitable for Onshore Wells in the Gorgan Plain

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Avatefi Anvar, Mehrdad (Author) ; Jamshidi, Saeed (Supervisor) ; Kalhor Mohammadi, Mojtaba (Co-Supervisor)
    Abstract
The Southern Caspian Basin, which includes northern Iran, western Turkmenistan, and eastern Azerbaijan, is known as the Land of Fire due to its abundant gas springs. This region possesses unique geological features, including active mud volcanoes that are associated with the release of methane gas. These characteristics indicate a high potential for oil and gas exploration in the area. The Gorgan Plain, located in Golestan Province and bordered by the Alborz and Koupeh-Dagh mountain ranges and the southern Caspian Sea, witnesses several active and dormant mud volcanoes, which serve as indicators of energy resource presence in the region. The drilling problems faced in wells A and B in the...

    Abstract
The synthesis of a variety of 2,3-disubstituted quinolines has been achieved successfully via a one-pot three-component reaction of arylamines, arylaldehydes and aliphatic aldehydes in the presence of butylpyridinium tetrachloroindate(III), [bpy][InCl4], ionic liquid as a green catalyst and solvent. Mild conditions with excellent conversions, and simple product isolation procedure are noteworthy advantages of this method. The recyclability of the ionic liquid makes this protocol environmentally benign
