    Abstract
    Polymorphism and dynamic binding of processing units to methods are key features in object-oriented (OO) processors. Since Network-on-Chip is not available for most platform implementation, common bus can be a good approach to interconnect processing units of an OO processor. In this paper, we present a network protocol with little overhead for common bus that does not violate the polymorphism method calls in an OO processor. Moreover, we show the appropriateness of our solution by presenting a real-world application. © 2008 Springer-Verlag

    Detailed investigation of the time-scale and the combined effect of fluid-rock and fluid-fluid phenomena in low-salinity enhanced oil recovery (EOR) is essential to gain fundamental understanding of the efficiency of oil recovery by this method. By focusing on a brine-oil-quartz system and developing fit-for-purpose methods and apparatus, we performed microfluidic flooding experiments to study this as a function of salinity. Brines made of single monovalent or divalent salts were considered to identify the most potent brines for micromodel flooding experiments.     Experimental Study of Two-Phase Slug Flow in Rectangular Tunnls with Adverse Slope

    Slug Flow is one of the most important schemes of two-phase air/water flow, which is quite complex and quite different to a single-phase flow. Also one of the common water conveyance systems is a rectangular tunnel which may have adverse slope at some parts of the tunnel. In this study the hydraulic of slug flow in rectangular tunnels with variable slope from horizontal to adverse have been considered using experimental setup. In this paper we present an effective method to tolerate the faults on the clock signal that are due to defects in external oscillators.
