    Abstract
    Solar heat energy, one of the typical renewable energy absorbs radiation energy from the sun and converts it into heat energy. Since it is sustainable and eco-friendly, it can be a good alternative to solve the problem of the depletion of fossil fuels. But it has low density. So, solar collector is very important to use more efficiently. There are some possible approaches to scaling-up the effectiveness of a collector by re-thinking of using the collector as a heat exchanger. In the design of dual-purpose collector with rectangular fin (DPCRF), can be used for heating air and water simultaneously using incident solar radiation resulting in optimum usage of energy and space

    Hybrid photovoltaic–thermal collectors (PVT) are cogeneration components that convert solar energy into both electricity and heat. Pulsating heat pipe (PHP) is a fast-responding, flexible and high-performance thermal-conducting device. The aim of this work is design and performance of a novel hybrid photovoltaic–thermal collector with pulsating heat pipe (PVTPHP) for improving the electrical efficiency, by reducing the photovoltaic panel’s temperature, as well as taking advantage of the thermal energy produced.     The numerical modeling of natural convection fluid flow and heat transfer in a quarter of gearwheel-shaped heat exchanger is carried out. The heat exchanger is included with internal active square bodies. These bodies have hot and cold temperatures with different thermal arrangements. Three different thermal arrangements are considered and showed with Case A, Case B and Case C. The CuO-water nanofluid is selected as operating fluid.     Abstract
    In this study, the properties of poly (vinyl alcohol)(PVA) films incorporated with Zataria multiflora essential oil (ZMO) as a potential antioxidant/antibacterial material was investigated. PVA films were prepared from PVA solutions (2% w/v) containing different concentrations of ZMO. Water solubility, moisture absorption, water swelling, and water vapor permeability for pure PVA films were 57 ± 1.1, 99 ± 3.2%, 337 ± 8%, and 0.453 ± 0.015 g mm/m2 h, respectively. Incorporation of ZMO into PVA films caused a significant decrease in water swelling and moisture absorption and increase in solubility and water vapor permeability.     The one-dimensional cutting stock problem has many applications in industries and during the past few years has been one of the centers of attention among the researchers in the field of applied operations research. In this paper, a revised version of Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) technique is presented to solve this problem. This paper is a sequel to the previous ACO algorithm presented by the authors. In this algorithm, according to some probabilistic rules, artificial ants will select cutting patterns and generate a feasible solution.     Control of a Group of Mobile Manipulators for Cooperative object Transportation

    In this thesis control of wheeled mobile manipulators for cooperative object transportation is investigated. Full dynamic model of a mobile manipulator with a three wheeled mobile base and a three DOF manipulator is derived using Gibbs-Appell method. Input-output linearization technique is used to control individual robots. Transporting the object is divided into two steps, first robots use a decentralized behavior-based method to approach and surround the object. Then virtual structure method is used to control the robots to transport the object cooperatively.     In this work dynamic behavior of a two body TSS with main satellite as rigid body is studied and effects of tether elasticity and tension on the satellite dynamic are indicated in station keeping phase and circular orbit. Also a simplified modeling is introduced which could be used in nonlinear controller design. Lagrange and extended Lagrange method is used to derive equations of motion. It is shown that longitudinal vibration of tether has small effect on satellite attitude and angular velocity and because of high frequency it can be decoupled from satellite dynamic.
