    Abstract
    ALM is an adaptive recursive algorithm which tries to express a multi-input multi-output system as a fuzzy combination of some single-input single-output systems. It uses a fuzzy curve fitting technique for behavior extraction or finding the input-output transfor-mation of each of the single-input single-output systems, which called ink drop spread (IDS).     Abstract
    This paper describes a genetic-fuzzy system adapted to find efficient partitions on data domains for IDS (Ink Drop Spread). IDS is the engine of Active Learning Method (ALM), a methodology of soft computing. IDS extracts useful information from a system subjected to modeling. Proposed method, called GIDS (Genetic IDS), uses genetic algorithm which optimizes the parameters of membership functions that represent the partitions on data planes. Obtained Results showed that using genetic algorithm to find the partitions has better accuracy than the previous generic IDS methods. © 2008 IEEE

    Abstract
    In this paper, a new reinforcement learning approach is proposed which is based on a powerful concept named Active Learning Method (ALM) in modeling. ALM expresses any multi-input-single-output system as a fuzzy combination of some single-input-singleoutput systems. The proposed method is an actor-critic system similar to Generalized Approximate Reasoning based Intelligent Control (GARIC) structure to adapt the ALM by delayed reinforcement signals. Our system uses Temporal Difference (TD) learning to model the behavior of useful actions of a control system. The goodness of an action is modeled on Reward-Penalty-Plane.     An effective approach for energy conservation in wireless sensor networks is scheduling sleep intervals for extraneous nodes while the remaining nodes stay active to provide continuous service. For the sensor network to operates successfully, the active nodes must maintain both sensing coverage and network connectivity.     Abstract
    One of the most important issues discussed in multi-agent systems, is communication between agents. Usually, a predefined communication protocol is used, but predefining a protocol between agents causes some problems; for example it is possible that agents recognize a subject that is not defined in their protocol so they can't express anything about it. In this paper we propose a new method for evolution of a communication protocol between intelligent agents by using natural selection mechanism.     Abstract
    Vehicle localization and environment mapping are the most essential parts of the robot navigation in unknown environments. Since the problem of localization in indoor environments is directly related to the problem of online map generation, in this paper a new and efficient algorithm for simultaneous localization and map generation is proposed and novel results for real environments are achieved. This new algorithm interprets and validates the raw sonar measurements in first step, and applies them to the environment map in the next step. This research presents the optimum design of a 3-DOF micro motion stage and its position control using FEM simulation.     The chaotic dynamics of roto-translatory motion of a triaxial Kelvin-type gyrostat satellite under gravity gradient perturbations is considered. The Hamiltonian approach is used for modelling of the coupled spin-orbit equations of motion. The complex Hamiltonian of the system is reduced via the extended Deprit canonical transformation using the Serret- Andoyer variables. Therefore, this reduction leads to the derivation of the perturbation form of the Hamiltonian that can be used in the Ricci curvature criterion based on the Riemannian manifold geometry for the analysis of chaos phenomenon.     Quasi-periodic and chaotic behavior, along with the control of chaos for a Gyrostat satellite (GS), is investigated in this work. The quaternion-based dynamical model of the GS is first derived, and then the influences of the reaction wheels in the GS structure, under the gravity gradient perturbation that causes a route to chaos through quasi-periodicity mechanism, is investigated.     Abstract
    The present study tries to use the methanol-silver nanofluid filled thermosyphon heat exchanger and compares the effectiveness as well as energy saving with pure methanol. Experimental results show that using methanol-silver nanofluid, leads to energy saving around 8.8-31.5% for cooling and 18-100% for reheating the supply air stream in an air conditioning system

    Abstract
    Most of the publications regarding the maxim covering location problem (MCLP) address the case where the decision is to be made for one period. In this paper, we deal with a rather untouched version of MCLP which is called dynamic MCLP (DMCLP). In order to solve this problem, a simulated annealing (SA) has been presented. The proposed solution algorithm is capable of solving problems with up to 2500 demand nodes and 200 potential facilities with a fair amount of exactness.
