    Deterministic lateral displacement (DLD) is a promising method showing great potential in achieving high-resolution separation of suspended particles based on their size, through the use of micropillars arranged in a periodic manner. In the traditional approach to DLD, the migration mode of a particle with a specific size is determined by the critical diameter (Dc), which is predetermined by the device's geometry.     Abstract
    Robotic Operating System (ROS) is an open source software framework, developed for the needs of robotics software developers and now it has become the standard ¬¬in this area. In this thesis, in order to propose an approach to verification of ROS-based softwares, we defined the mapping from Rebeca modeling language to ROS. To reach this aim, we have studied the main ROS concepts and investigated several ROS-based systems syntactically and operationally. Our mapping includes specifying the corresponding conceptual and syntactical components between Rebeca and ROS, and proposing an algorithm to convert any Rebeca code to the ROS code.     Abstract
    Accurate online state of health (SOH) estimation is crucial for the efficient and safe operation of lithium-ion battery packs in electric vehicles and grid-connected energy storage units. This paper proposes a novel data-driven SOH estimation model for lithium-ion batteries based on a new health indicator, namely referenced-based charging time. The proposed model utilizes the referenced-based charging time of partial charging cycles to predict the SOH using a machine learning approach.     A carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified with 2,2′-[1,2 butanediylbis(nitriloethylidyne)]-bis-hydroquinone (BBNBH) and TiO2 nanoparticles was used for the sensitive voltammetric determination of epinephrine (EP). The electrochemical response characteristics of the modified electrode toward EP and acetaminophen (AC) were investigated by cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry (CV and DPV). The results showed an efficient catalytic activity of the electrode for the electrooxidation of EP, which leads to a reduction in its overpotential by more than 270 mV.
