    Modeling dual-channel supply chain based on fuzzy system and genetic algorithm

    Abstract
    In this paper, we have proposed a dual-channel supply chain model in uncertain environment to analyze the demand of manufacturer and retailer demand in which the profit being maximized. Linguistic terms are also utilized to establish two fuzzy systems for estimating the demand in direct and retail channels. In order to do that, a mathematical model is proposed based on decentralized situation of supply chain. To solve the model, we have developed a hybrid solution method of genetic algorithm, fuzzy system, and L-P metric. Finally, several test problems are first generated; then, the computational results are analyzed. © 2017 World Scientific Publishing Company

    In this paper, we complement some recent results of L. Márki, J. Meyer, J. Szigeti and L. van Wyk, by investigating the constant-trace representations of a Clifford algebra C(V) of an arbitrary quadratic form q: V→ F (possibly degenerate) and we present some relevant applications. In particular, the existence of the polynomial identities of C(V) of particular form when the characteristic of the base field is zero is looked at. Furthermore, a lower bound is found on the minimal number t, such that C(V) can be embedded in a matrix ring of degree t, over some commutative F-algebra.     Molecular self-assembly of cadmium selenide quantum dots-end-capped polyrotaxane hybrid nanostructures (PRCdSe QDs) was led to a new type of core-shell hybrid nanomaterials consisting of cadmium selenide quantum dot (CdSe QDs) core and polyrotaxane shell (PR@QDs). Structure of PR@QDs was characterized using various techniques.     We report a facile method to synthesize a magnetically separable Pd-rGO/CNT/CaFe2O4 photocatalyst. The incorporation of CNTs into rGO can form a conductive network structure to bridge the gaps between rGO sheets. This conductive network can prevent the restacking of GO nanosheets during the reduction process. Also, for photocatalysis, the aforementioned conjugated network can provide rapid electronic conducting channels. It was found that the Pd-rGO/CNT/CaFe2O4 nanocomposite is an efficient photocatalyst for the Heck-Mizoroki coupling reaction under irradiation of visible light.     A new catalyst based on metallophthalocyanine nanoparticles has been synthesized and characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The aqueous oxidation of alcohols to the corresponding carbonyl compounds (aldehydes and ketones) has been studied using tetra-n-butyl-ammonium-peroxo-monosulfate (n-Bu4NHSO5) as an oxidant and a catalytic system consisting of copper (II) phthalocyanine nanoparticles in water.     Herein, we demonstrate a simple yet novel luminescence assay for visual chiral discrimination of cysteine. Thioglycolic acid (TGA)-capped cadmium-telluride (CdTe) quantum dots (QDs) exposing green emission were directly synthesized in aqueous solution. The interaction between cysteine molecules and CdTe QDs induced the aggregation of QDs via hydrogen bonding.     The Carnot, Diesel, Otto, and Brayton power cycles are reconsidered endoreversibly in finite time thermodynamics (FTT). In particular, the thermal efficiency of these standard power cycles is compared to the well-known results in classical thermodynamics. The present analysis based on FTT modelling shows that a reduction in both the maximum and minimum temperatures of the cycle causes the thermal efficiency to increase. This is antithetical to the existing trend in the classical references.     Cylindrical pipes are installed to a line-focusing solar system with a linear receiver tube for transmitting thermal energy to the working fluid. In this study, the effects of a novel forward ring step inside circular pipes on the heat transfer performance of linear solar receiver tubes were investigated using computational fluid dynamics.     Superparamagnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles (SPIONs) were synthesized and coated with pseudopolyrotaxanes (PPRs) and proposed as a novel hybrid nanostructure for medical imaging and drug delivery. PPRs were prepared by addition of α-cyclodextrin rings to functionalized polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain with hydrophobic triazine end-groups. Non-covalent interactions between SPIONs and PPRs led to the assembly of SPIONs@PRs hybrid nanomaterials.
