    In this paper, we study the impact of sensing error and channel fading on the decision process of a multiple secondary user network in a primary network whose channel occupancy states are modelled as a Bernoulli process. We present a randomized access strategy to maximize total secondary network throughput. The proposed method guarantees that the probability of collision between primary and secondary users in each channel is less than the predefined value of Pc = ξ. To find the optimal access strategy, we formulate secondary network throughput as an optimization problem.     Abstract
    This study evaluates the performance of eight Large Language Models (LLMs) in Persian news summarization: GPT-4o, Claude-3.5-Sonnet, Gemini-Pro-1.5, Llama-3.1-405B, Command-R, Mistral-Large-2, DeepSeek V2.5, and Gemma-2-9B. We assess these models across five news categories: Economy, International, Sports, Technology, and Social, using the pn_summary dataset. Our evaluation employs multiple metrics, including BERTScore and ROUGE, across two input conditions: article-only and article-with-title. Results show that Llama-3.1405b performed best against reference summaries in the article-only setting, achieving the highest BERTScore F1 (50.60) and ROUGE-L (33.96) scores. Notably, including...

However, the mass application of graphene might lead to side effects, which has not been properly addressed in previous studies, especially with regard to its effect on the cell cycle.     In this paper, an adaptive finite element procedure is presented in modeling of mixed-mode cohesive crack propagation via the modified superconvergent path recovery technique. The adaptive mesh refinement is performed based on the Zienkiewicz-Zhu error estimator. The weighted-SPR recovery technique is employed to improve the accuracy of error estimation. The Espinosa-Zavattieri bilinear cohesive zone model is applied to implement the traction-separation law.     Under Linear Elastic Fracture Mechanics (LEFM) assumptions, the stress at the crack tip is theoretically infinite. Clearly all materials have a finite strength, thus there will always be a plastified zone around the crack tip. If the size of plastic zone is not small compared to the crack size, then linear elastic assumptions are not applicable and a nonlinear model must be used. This damaged zone is referred to as a plastic zone for metals, and a fracture process zone for cementitious materials and ceramics.
