    Internet technology has influenced the banking systems because of its capability to enhance performance of financial operations. A major concern of Internet banking systems is the customers’ perception of security and trust. This study presents an experimental investigation on important factors influencing trust in e-payments systems in Iran. A set of potentially determinant factors of trust is developed and organized in three major groups: technical and transaction procedures, access to security guidelines, and usability.     Abstract
    In this paper, a hybrid meta-heuristic algorithm based on Harris Hawk Optimization (HHO) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is developed and used to design castellated beams. The total cost, including material and construction costs, is taken as the objective function, and the code requirements and geometry limitations have been considered in constraint functions. The proposed method is used to obtain the optimal solution of three examples. The solution is then compared with the results of five known methods.     The so-called enriched weight functions (EWFs) are utilized in mesh-free methods (MMs) to solve linear elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM) problems; the following issues are of concern: convergence behavior; sufficiency of EWFs to capture singular fields around the crack-tip; and the preservation of the J-integral path-independency. EWFs prove useful in conjunction with the moving least square reproducing kernel method (MLSRKM); for this purpose, both EWFs and MLSRKM are modified.     A meshless method called reproducing kernel particle method (RKPM) is exploited to cope with elastic-plastic fracture mechanics (EPFM) problems. The idea of arithmetic progression is assumed to place particles within the refinement zone in the vicinity of the crack tip.     This study proposes a response-based parameter for strong motion duration which is computed for structures and is the total time they are nonlinear during an earthquake. Correlation between structural response and duration for structures, subjected to a set of spectrum matched ground motions, is employed to examine the efficiency of the proposed method.     In this paper, we introduce a new class of sigature matrices for overloaded synchronous CDMA systems that have a very low complexity decoder. While overloaded systems are more efficient from the bandwidth point of view, the Maximum Likelihood (ML) implementation for decoding is impractical even for moderate dimensions. Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed decoder is very close to that of the ML decoder. Indeed, the proposed decoding scheme needs neither multiplication nor addition and requires only a few comparisons. Frequent data updates pose even more difficulties when applying existing classification techniques in peer-to-peer networks.
