    Abstract
    The purpose of this paper is to present a polynomial time algorithm which determines the lot sizes for purchase component in Material Requirement Planning (MRP) environments with deterministic time-phased demand with zero lead time. In this model, backlog is not permitted, the unit purchasing price is based on the all-units discount system and resale of the excess units is possible at the ordering time. The properties of an optimal order policy are argued and on the basis of them, a branch and bound algorithm is presented to construct an optimal sequence of order policies.     Abstract
    In this study, a laboratory-scale biotrickling filter (BTF) is used to remove Triethylamine (TEA) from gaseous wastes. The BTF is made of stainless steel with a height of 210 cm and an internal diameter of 21 cm packed with lava rocks. TEA elimination pattern was evaluated by changing empty bed residence times (EBRTs). The maximum elimination capacity (EC) has been determined to be 87 g/m3/h. At all EBRTs 52, 31, 20, and 10 s, contaminant transferring from gas phase to liquid was more than the EC. Also, the removal efficiency was 100 % for a mass loading of 100 g/m3/h.     Abstract
    This study investigated the removal of triethylamine using a biotrickling filter. The influence of affecting parameters, such as height and recirculation liquid rate (VL) on contaminant removal efficiency, was examined in detail. The results demonstrated that in the constant empty bed residence time (EBRT), when VL was increased, the removal efficiency (RE) increased. Also, for a specific VL, increasing EBRT could also increase RE values. However, it seems that an increasing VL is a more cost-effective way to enhance RE as compared to an increasing EBRT.     We investigate the reconstruction of 3D human-object interactions from images, encompassing 3D human shape and pose estimation as well as object shape and pose estimation. To address this task, we introduce an autoregressive transformer-based variational autoencoder capable of learning a robust shape prior from extensive 3D shape datasets. Additionally, we leverage the reconstructed 3D human body as supplementary features for object shape and pose estimation. In contrast, prior methods only predict object pose and rely on shape templates for shape prediction.     The chaotic dynamics of roto-translatory motion of a triaxial Kelvin-type gyrostat satellite under gravity gradient perturbations is considered. The Hamiltonian approach is used for modelling of the coupled spin-orbit equations of motion. The complex Hamiltonian of the system is reduced via the extended Deprit canonical transformation using the Serret- Andoyer variables.     The present study tries to use the methanol-silver nanofluid filled thermosyphon heat exchanger and compares the effectiveness as well as energy saving with pure methanol. Experimental results show that using methanol-silver nanofluid, leads to energy saving around 8.8-31.5% for cooling and 18-100% for reheating the supply air stream in an air conditioning system

    Abstract
    Most of the publications regarding the maxim covering location problem (MCLP) address the case where the decision is to be made for one period. In this paper, we deal with a rather untouched version of MCLP which is called dynamic MCLP (DMCLP). In order to solve this problem, a simulated annealing (SA) has been presented. The proposed solution algorithm is capable of solving problems with up to 2500 demand nodes and 200 potential facilities with a fair amount of exactness.     In the present study, alginate/cartilage extracellular matrix (ECM)-based injectable hydrogel was developed incorporated with silk fibroin nanofibers (SFN) for cartilage tissue engineering. The in situ forming hydrogels were composed of different ionic crosslinked alginate concentrations with 1% w/v enzymatically crosslinked phenolized cartilage ECM, resulting in an interpenetrating polymer network (IPN).
