Searching for images of the same object or scene in a large number of images is a major problem in computer vision. It has many applications specially in the search engines.For the goal of efficient image search, we need descriptors that are not only discriminative, but also short and need small amount of memory.In this thesis we analyze the image search methods in two categories: The first methods are based on converting the existed descriptors such as gist into a compact binary code. 3D reconstruction of digital images is one of the sub- branches of computer vision which is used in various fields such as computer graphics, compute animation, etc. in general, two approaches exist for solving 3D structure problem. In the first approach to obtain the model, we need a certain distance of the whole object level at a certain point and to do so, a sensor is used which is directly interacting with the object. Abstract
BiOCl was synthesized using bismuth nitrate pentahydrate and sodium chloride via ball milling for 15 (B15), 30 (B30), and 60 (B60) min. Scanning electron microscopy studies revealed the isolated nanoplate morphology for B15, an aggregated structure composed of nanoplates for B30, and a special three-dimensional morphology for B60. The X-ray diffraction patterns showed the purity and crystallinity of the products improved by increasing the milling time. Abstract
A mechanochemical method was applied to prepare bismuth oxybromide (BiOBr) nanoplates using bismuth nitrate pentahydrate and potassium bromide for 15 (A15), 30 (A30) and 60 (A60) minutes. Scanning electron microscopy studies showed that all the products were comprised of nanoplates. Aggregated nanoplates along with microblocks were observed for A15 and A30 and the entire morphology was not homogenous. The morphology of A60 was uniform and consisted of thin and isolated nanoplates. Secure routing is a major key to service maintenance in ad hoc networks. Ad hoc nature exposes the network to several types of node misbehavior or attacks. As a result of the resource limitations in such networks nodes may have a tendency to behave selfishly. Selfish behavior can have drastic impacts on network performance. The behavior of boundary layer under the effect of the sweep angle is considered. The measurements were performed by a pitot tube rake. Three models with various sweep angels at angles of attack -2, 0 and 2 degree were tested. Both tip and root of all wings were closed by flat plates in order to prevent the flow to roll-up. However the flow field on the wing was still three-dimensional because of the sweep angle. The velocity on the wing has two components; longitudinal and lateral. In this study, we introduce a model to for DNA nanomechanics. This model is called rigid base-pair chain in which every base pair is considered as a rigid object.
