    In this paper, the dynamic instability of a nonlinear system has been studied using the stochastic vibration analysis and employing statistical properties of the system response. In this method neither the time domain analysis nor limit cycle oscillations were used. A two degrees-of-freedom airfoil subjected to an aerodynamic quasi-steady flow with a nonlinear torsional spring was considered as the case study.     Abstract
    In this paper, designing of the LQR controller and observer with intelligent tools for the triple inverted pendulum is investigated. Intelligent tools are considered as GA and GA-PSO optimization algorithms and fuzzy logic to qualify achieving LQR gains. The pendulum is swung up from the vertical position to the unstable position. The rules for the controlled swing up are heuristically achieved such that each swing results are controlled.     The influence of the addition of the nonionic surfactants C12DMPO, C14DMPO, C10OH, and C10EO5 at concentrations between 10-5 and 10-1 mmol/L to solutions of β-casein (BCS) and β-lactoglobulin (BLG) at a fixed concentration of 10-5 mmol/L on the dilational surface rheology is studied.     This paper presents synthesis and photophysical investigation of a very rare type of the ReI diimine complexes, [Re(diimine)(CO)3(OPR3)]+, R = Ph, Cy; diimine – phenanthroline and neocuproine, containing monodentate (unsupported) phosphine oxide ligands. The obtained compounds have been structurally characterized in solid phase by using XRD crystallography, which revealed unusual distortions in the pseudo octahedral rhenium environment, which may be ascribed to intramolecular interligand (phosphine oxide – diimine) interaction rather than to crystal packing effect.     In the present work we obtained a series of NIR luminescent platinum(II) complexes with a pincer N^N^C ligand based on the conjugated {benzoimidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine} system with the [Pt(N^N^C)L]n+ structural motif (L = phosphine, alkynyl or pyridine-type ligands).     Most of the energy efficient routing algorithms proposed for sensor networks are reactive routing algorithms. By definition, reactive algorithms are those in which routes are constructed whenever there is data transmission.     In a SEnsor Network with Mobile Agents (SENMA) is an architecture proposed for large scale sensor networks. In sensor networks, a fraction of the packets generated by only part of the sensors is sufficient to provide a good estimation of all network information. SENMA uses this inherent redundancy. However, the performance of such system is limited by estimation errors and packet errors due to collision.     With modified measuring procedure and measuring cell design in the drop profile tensiometer PAT, it became possible to study the rate of water evaporation through adsorbed or spread surface layers. This method was employed to measure the rate of water evaporation from drops covered by adsorbed layers of some proteins and surfactants, in particular n-dodecanol. It was shown that the formation of dense (double or condensed) adsorbed layers of protein and the formation of 2D-condensed n-dodecanol layer decrease the water evaporation rate by 20-25% as compared with pure water.     Perovskite solar cells have been constructed under the standard procedure by employing soluble tetratriphenylamine-substituted Zn phthalocyanine as hole transporting material. Solution processed device construction was carried out under ambient conditions of 50–60% ambient humidity. Triphenylamine substitution played the double role of imparting solubility to the core metal phthalocyanine as well as to introduce electron-rich ligands, which could enhance the role of Zn phthalocyanine as hole transporter.     A recent scheme for perfect transmission of quantum states through quasi-one-dimensional chains requires application of global control at regular intervals of time. We study the effect of stochastic noise in this control and find that the scheme is robust for reasonable values of disorder. Both uncorrelated and correlated noise in the external control are studied, and it is remarkably found that the efficiency of the protocol is much higher in the presence of correlated noise

    This article presents a novel armchair graphene nanoribbon (AGNR) field-effect transistor with engineered nanopores for resonant tunneling.     We investigate the dynamics of an initially disentangled Gaussian state on a general finite symmetric graph. As concrete examples we obtain properties of this dynamics on mean field graphs (also called fully connected or complete graphs) of arbitrary sizes. In the same way that chains can be used for transmitting entanglement by their natural dynamics, these graphs can be used to store entanglement.     The adsorption of proteins at liquid interfaces happens at rather low bulk concentrations due to their rather high surface activity. In contrast typical surfactants start to decrease the surface tension at bulk concentration in the range of mmol/l and reach a minimum value at about two or three orders of magnitude higher concentration. The two proteins studied here, β-lactoglobulin and β-casein, adsorb already remarkably at much lower concentrations, i.e. less than 1. μmol/l. When smallest amounts of a non-ionic surfactant are added to low concentrated protein solutions, changes in the surface tension are observed which cannot be explained by the existing theoretical models.     An appropriate combination of the thin-layer Navier-Stokes (TLNS) and parabolized Navier-Stokes (PNS) solvers is used to accurately and efficiently compute hypersonic transitional/turbulent flowfields of perfect gas and equilibrium air around blunt-body configurations. The TLNS equations are solved in the nose region to provide the initial data plane needed for the solution of the PNS equations.     This study mainly aims to investigate the effect of reformer gas (RG) addition on the performance of homogeneous charge compression ignition (HCCI) engines using a multi zone model. The developed model is validated using a wide range of experimental data of a cooperative fuel research engine. Blended fuels of isooctane and n-heptane, known as primary reference fuels, with different octane numbers are used as the main engine fuel. A semi detailed chemical-kinetic mechanism containing 101 species and 594 reactions is used to simulate the combustion of blended fuels.
