Abstract
Dental composites of A2 color using Bis-GMA, urethane dimethacrylate and triethyleneglycol dimethycrylate resins (70/20/10), and silica filler (70 wt%, 75 wt%, and 80 wt%), a hybrid of nano- and microsilica particles, are made and subjected to the following tests: Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), particle size analyzer, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and also cytotoxicity. FTIR results show that an increase in filler amount yields to a decrease in degree of conversion. Therefore, there should be a compromise between degree of conversion and the filler amount. Abstract
In this paper, some codes are designed for a binary chip-asynchronous CDMA system which guarantee errorless communication in the absence of noise. These codes also show good performance for noisy channels. In addition, lower and upper bounds for the sum channel capacity are derived for finite and asymptotic cases with the assumption of both noiseless and noisy channels. The results are derived assuming that user delays are known at the receiver end. The performance of proposed codes in the noisy case is also compared to both Gold sequences and a similar class of binary sequences with constrained amount of correlation

Dynamic gait planning for humanoid robots encounters difficulties such as stability, speed, and smoothness. In most of previous studies, joints' trajectories are calculated in 3D Cartesian space, then, introducing boundary conditions and using polynomials, the first and second derivatives of the motion are ensured to be continuous. Boundary stabilization of vibrating three-dimensional Cosserat elastic solids are studied using mathematical tools, such as operator theory and semigroup techniques. The advantages of the boundary control laws for both boundary stabilization problems are investigated. The boundary stabilization problems are studied using a Lyapunov stability method and LaSalle's invariant set theorem. In the band structure analysis of photonic crystals it is normally assumed that the full photonic gaps could be found by scanning high-symmetry paths along the edges of Irreducible Brillouin Zones (IBZ). We have recently shown [1] that this assumption is wrong in general for sufficiently symmetry breaking geometries, so that the IBZ is exactly half of the complete BZ. Hydrophobic titania nanoparticles were synthesized by a novel in situ sol-gel method and applied in a single drop liquid-liquid extraction column to enhance the overall dispersed-phase mass transfer coefficient (Kod). The chemical system of toluene, acetic acid and water was used, and the direction of solute (acetic acid) mass transfer was from dispersed phase, including: toluene and acetic acid to the continuous phase of water. 2-Mercaptobenzimidazole, loaded on silica gel (MBI-SG) was used for preconcentration and speciation of iron(II) and iron(III) in water samples. The speciation is based upon selective retention of iron(III) on MBI-SG sorbent and quantitatively passing iron(II) ions. This type of sorbent was not only capable of separating theses two ions but also could concentrate them. Polycarboxylate superplasticizers based on acrylic acid (AA) and maleic anhydride (MAn) were synthesized via free-radical copolymerization with an ethylene glycol monomer and characterized. In the present research, the introduction of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) into the hydroxyapatite (HA) matrix and dip coating of nanocomposite on titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) plate was conducted in order to improve the performance of the HA-coated implant via the sol-gel method. A web attack is an attack against a web server through the HTTP Protocol. By analyzing known web attacks, we find out that each one has its own behavior. Vestiges of their behavior could be detected in non-body parts of the HTTP Protocol. Such information can be used to verify web alerts generated by Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and Web Intrusion Detection Systems (Web IDSs). In this study, the crystallisation of nano hydroxyapatite (HA) films on stainless steel 316L was studied. The film was prepared by sol-gel technique. The process was started with preparation of an HA sol. After aging of the sol at room temperature, a stainless steel 316L substrate was dip coated and then was heat treated from 350 to 450°C at different periods of time in air. The crystallisation behaviour and the transformation-temperature-time diagram of HA films were achieved and analysed using the avrami equation.
