Abstract
Sulfur compounds are very undesirable and result in Corrosion in metal equipment, air pollutions and poisoning of refinery Catalysts such as reforming Catalyst. Therefore, application of Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) process in order to decrease the amount of sulfur in petroleum cuts has a great importance. HDS process is the most usual and efficientmethod for sulfur removal. In this method sulfur compounds at vigorous operating conditions such as high temperature and pressure in the presence of catalyst react with hydrogen and produce hydrogen disulfide and hydrocarbon. Kinetics and mechanism of 4,4-dicyano-5-ethyl-1,5-heptadiene rearrangement reaction, a pericyclic type reaction, were studied with ab initio calculations in gas and solution phases. This reaction is one of the cope rearrangement in which secondary kinetic isotope effect is observed. Theoretical study on these reactions showed that probability of radicalic mechanism is inconsiderable and reaction proceeds through out a concerted mechanism with cyclic transition state. Trolling mode atomic force microscopy (TR-AFM) has overcome many imaging problems in liquid environments by considerably reducing the liquid-resonator interaction forces. The finite element model of the TR-AFM resonator considering the effects of fluid and nanoneedle flexibility is presented in this research, for the first time. Co-movement between inflation and nominal interest in response to an interest rate shock, dubbed neo-fisherianism, has been the subject of contentious debate since the advent of non-inflationary ZLB environment. We design an economic model rich with banking features to understand the economic responses to permanent and long-term interest rate shocks. We find that responses to a permanent positive interest rate shock depend on the monetary authorities’ speculation of the new long-term inflation rate, with the most probable outcome being a permanent increase in inflation. A time domain approach is used to study the cutting conditions in reaming process that leads the system to regenerative chatter vibrations. The dynamic analysis of the system includes inertia of the tool, centripetal and Coriolis terms, damping and the first mode bending of reamer.
