Abstract
Today, in order to increase the effectiveness of the drug and reduce its side effects, modern drug delivery systems replace the traditional methods of drug production. Some of these systems are designed to allow their drug release to proceed gradually and prolonged, so that its concentration in the blood remains at a relatively constant level and preserves the therapeutic effect of the drug. Aspirin or acetylsalicylic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs). Aspirin is widely used to prevent secondary heart attacks and stroke and reduce the risk of death in patients with chronic coronary artery disease and stroke.
