    Abstract
    The rule based scheduling algorithms are a new trend in grid scheduling algorithms; the combination of rule based algorithms for resource selection with various dispatching rules for queuing of jobs can improve or deteriorate their performance. Thus, choosing a proper queuing strategy for each algorithm is a prominent issue in scheduling. In this paper, we introduce two new dispatching rules for resource selection and three new dispatching rules for queuing of jobs; we evaluate the performance of various combinations of these new rule based scheduling algorithms and queuing strategies.     Abstract
    In this paper, we propose a new voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) with a high oscillation frequency yet low power consumption. The oscillator which is a single stage circuit has a low phase noise due to reduced noise sources. To evaluate the performance parameters, the oscillator was simulated in a 0.18-μm standard CMOS process. The results show that the oscillation frequency of VCO may vary between 4.66-5.9 GHz. Also, the phase noise of the VCO at oscillation frequency of 5.6 GHz is -99.7 dBc at 1 MHz offset frequency. Also, the power consumption was 4.8 mW at the same oscillation frequency. © 2007 IEEE

    Disease association study is of great importance among various fields of study in bioinformatics. Computational methods happen to be advantageous specifically when experimental approaches fail to obtain accurate results. Haplotypes are believed to be the most responsible biological data for genetic diseases. In this paper, the problem of reconstructing haplotypes from error-containing SNP fragments is discussed For this purpose, two new methods have been proposed by a combination of k-means clustering and particle swarm optimization algorithm. Chalmers’ neo-Fregean framework which he calls “The Two-Dimensional Semantics” is developed to defend a neo-Fregean account of the meaning of linguisting terms while acknowledging the insights of Kripke’s criticisms of the crude Fregean view.     Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs), a single DNA base varying from one individual to another, are believed to be the most frequent form responsible for genetic differences. Genotype is the conflated information of a pair of haplotypes on homologous chromosomes. Although haplotypes have more information for disease associating than individual SNPs and genotype, it is substantially more difficult to determine haplotypes through experiments.     This paper presents a novel method to estimate the design parameters of a diaphragm thermoacoustic Stirling engine and investigate the stable limit cycle (sufficient condition) of the engine dynamic using the genetic algorithm and system energy changes.     We introduce a new smooth, non-toxic, biocompatible method for cross-linking of gum tragacanth (GT), a polysaccharide of natural origin, in order to serve as a new supporting matrix for immobilization systems. The modified gum is used as a matrix for the catalysis of the conversion of benzyl penicillin to 6-aminopenicillanic acid (6-APA) by means of Escherichia coli ATCC11105 with penicillin G acylase (PGA) activity.     Pole Side Impact Tes is one out of three crash tests described by Euro NCAP standard for star rating of a vehicle and is required for assessing the Adult Occupant Protection. In this paper the goal is to determine the crashworthiness of side doors and B pillar in a Pole Side Impact Test based on Euro New Car Assessment Program (Euro-NCAP) using computer and simulation method.
