Among the various remaining upgrade processes, non-catalytic heating processes are very attractive and have gotten a wider scope worldwide because the feed used for the upgrade process is high in metal and sulfur, which causes the catalyst surface to become toxic and inactive. The absorber is an important component in absorption machines and its characteristics have significant effects on the overall efficiency of absorption machines. This article reports on the results of numerical studies on the characteristics of falling film LiBr-H2O solution on a completely wetted horizontal tube and the associated vapor absorption in the Reynolds number range of 5 < Re < 100. An exact treatment of ellipsoid-substrate interactions

Abstract
We present an exact treatment of the pairwise surface interactions of biaxial ellipsoidal bodies and derive the exact explicit expressions for the attractive-repulsive Lennard-Jones(6-12) ellipsoid-substrate interactions. The applicability of the results at nanoscale as a coarse-grained description of molecule-substrate interactions has been studied through presenting parameterizations for a number of small biaxial molecules. The study concludes that the anisotropic coarse-grained potential reproduces the atomistic interactions of ellipsoid-like rigid molecules perfectly, with a negligible error of less than 3%. Abstract
We derive exact expressions for the forces and torques between biaxial molecules interacting via the RE-squared potential, a recent variant of the Gay-Berne potential. Moreover, efficient routines have been provided for rigid body MD simulations, resulting in 1.6 times speedup compared to the two-point finite difference approach. It has also been shown that the time cost of a MD simulation will be almost equal to a similar MC simulation, making use of the provided routines. © 2006 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved

Abstract
We have proposed an efficient parametrization method for a recent variant of the Gay Berne potential for dissimilar and biaxial particles [Phys. Rev. E 67, 041710 (2003)] and demonstrated it for a set of small organic molecules. Compared with the previously proposed coarse-grained models, the new potential exhibits a superior performance in close contact and large distant interactions. In his Mind, Brain and Free Will, Swinburne introduces a new argument for substance dualism based on the synchronic unity of humans’ conscious experiences. He argues that the human body cannot be the substance of such a synchronic unity, and that this coexperiencing property, which is a mental property, is the essential property of the human substance: hence our substance is a mental substance.
